I just installed the PCIII and O2 eliminators and there is definitely a difference and worth it. The 1st-2nd gear low speed hesitation is gone as well as the 5k-6k rpm flat spot. It also seems to make a smoother transition to VTEC.

The place I ordered from did the programming for me. I told them I had the Leo's and stock air filter and they sent it to me already set up. I'll have to find my receipt, to remember where I bought it from. I'll shoot you a PM.

Check out twtex.com and tsba.org. I've gone on rides with people from both sites. Some people from twtex always meet up in Plano on Thursday night at the Starbucks on Preston, south of Park.

PCIII is so worth it. The PCIII install is fairly easy. No wire splicing required. Just unplug part of the wire harness and plug the PCIII into it. The plug is easy to get to.

O2 eliminators were a bit trickier. I had a hard time finding them, and then once I did they were hard to reach without taking the fairing off. All said it still only took about an hour to install. 10 minutes for the PCIII, 45 scratching my head trying to find the O2 sensors, and 5 minutes to plug them in. :)

My '06 ran a whole lot smoother. Worth every penny. If I remember right, I got my PCIII off Ebay for around $275 from a company, not an individual. Then I had to buy the O2 sensors from DynoJet directly for another $40 or so.

Just be sure you buy the correct year, the sixth gen have two different PCIII's. 02~05 and 06~08.

Speaking of which... does anyone have a DynoJet sticker their not using and willing to mail to me? :) One of mine was torn. And while I'm not big on putting stickers on my bike, the red/white DynoJet sticker actually looks good on the white VFR.

Hey Jeff i bought a used one from a guy from California.
Went down to The Source and bought some 330 omn reistors (instead of the o2 sensors) way way cheaper.
And i installed it all In about 20 minutes. But i had my main fairing removed already.

If you need some help i will be sure to lend a hand. PS i have 2 extra resistors.

With the Leo Vinces you might use the Staintune maps from the dynoJet site. They work pretty well. I may have the bike tuned for a custom map sometime, though.

We took off the left side fairing to install the O2 elims. I paid a little over $300 for the PCIII and about $40 for both the O2 eliminators. Sure, a guy can find slightly cheaper prices on the WWW, but I like shopping with guys I trust - I bought my stuff from Chris at CA-Cycleworks. The communication and service is top-notch. Maybe you guys live somewhere that has a cool local dealer, but I don't CA-Cycleworks is like my local dealer. So, my advice is to shop at the shop that deserves your business, not necessarily the cheapest shop. Off the soapbox now.

Also don't forget, you will need TWO O2 elliminators.

Hey Chomper, I went to a local place today (Holeshot) and was quoted $395.00 CDN.

    The PC website says this...

Can't say I care but good to know.

It also says on their site that the closest tuning center if ya wanna go a custom map is in Kelowna (Future Cycle). Haven't called them yet to confirm. When I mentioned getting a custom map to Holeshot I got a bewildered look, kinda like this :suspicious: I think if I would have continued my PCIII talk this might have happened... :faint2:

Looks like if we wanna play, a road/tuning trip may be in order. There are a bunch of tuning centers in WA. Shouldn't be too hard to bring it all back in either

I'm running an 02 Vtec with PC3, staintunes with spuds, o2 elems, & filter. I downloaded the correct map from the power commander website & my bike runs perfectly. It eliminated the lean condition, & added noticeable power. I recommend the PC3. Try the correct map from PC first, it might save you some $. Good luck.
