I think it's pretty hot. I have a real thing for Prillers, anyway. Those of you that wanted a harder edge, full on sport VFR...guys, this is your bike...

BTW, a rider on a beautiful Tuono came by me on the commute home tonight. I pointed at his bike and gave him a big thumbs up.

Time was, Honda would have built this bike, but now...they appear to be afraid of taking risks...

Wonder if they'll make a street legal version to match the Ducati? but at a more affordable price, I too have a soft spot for apes. Speaking of, I'm hoping to get a chance to see the delivery of the first here in the PNW of the infamous V4 duc tomorrow. I hear they are something else to listen too.

I could be wrong but the new WSBK rules state that the bikes must be actal production machines, hence the reason behind the Duc 1098 R. Price may be a factor though, I'd pay up to $20k for a bike like this, but not too much more. It also depends on how it's kitted. I'd buy the 1098 S over the regular 1098, as I'd be spending a bit of $$$ to bring it up to S model specs. We'll see what happens this fall when the street going version is released.

I think the same of it that I do of all Aprilias; it's beautiful, and too expensive.

I want it. I cant afford it. Apparently they released this bike at a lawyers convention. Or perhaps it was a funeral.

My god it is cool. I wonder how well it works? Aprilia has a pretty good track record for handling, but I always heard that their bikes were under-powered. I wonder if this engine solves that issue...

If I won the lottery tomorrow, id buy one.

And they look REALLY excited! Must be a shareholders' meeting or something. Some of them look like they are thinking "why are we going to build that?"

+1 on the Prillers. I'll have to wait a couple of years for my next bike, but I have a serious Jones for a Tuono. That’s in addition to the VFR of course.

Nice bike, good engine, I just wish all the designers would get their nose out of each others rear and get away from this chopped off tail look. It throws the rear out of balance. I nice tapered tail looks so aero and smooth, more like the RC211V of old.

But who am I kidding, I can't afford this, at least not now. maybe when they've been out a couple of years and Tom is through babying his.

You'll have to speak for yourself on that one, it's a race replica. I need more legroom, less distance to the bars and a real seat.

    More legroom=adjustable rearsets
less distance to the bars=heli bars, or similiar
    real seat=sargent

problem solved!!! The RC-51 was also a race replica, and ppl bougt them, the Duc 999 was terribly uncomfortable and ppl bought them. We'll see what happens with this one. Aprilia hopefully solved their dealership and repair issues before releasing this bike to the masses.
