Here's what I did today in Commiefornia: http://video.aol.com/video-detail/pozo-trail-riding-mare-springs-hill-climb-and-others/1235754624 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEHf6F-K8X4 the guy in the second one needs to learn how to downshift... they aren't my vids, but it's the pozo ORV area which is about 30 mins from here...
ah man, watching those make it hard to sit in an office and work! I'll have to get down there some day, have heard about that place.
I used to ride 2 strokes, but I tell you these new 4 strokes are something else... that damn 450 of mine is powerful as hell... I think it'll raise the front wheel in all 4 gears. I know it's got more than I can handle anyway. I'm pretty slow on it. Pozo is pretty technical in some areas and there are big rocks that like to reach up and knock the hell out of you... It's fun, though. A lap around it is as good as a gym workout and way more fun! Man, you wouldn't belive the views. When we got up on top we could see the sierras and they are pretty far from where we live...
Mind if I take the ole YZ out for a rip at the BBQ?? Just messin' buddy! Looks like a nice place to ride. You got any shots of you on the bike?
This reminds me that my old XR250L is in the back building with a battery tender on it. It hasn't been in the woods in a couple of years. I did start it and ride it to work a couple weeks ago. Man, I need to go dirt ridin'. I'd forgotten how much fun that is.
no pics of me on the YZ. we actually talked about getting some pics before the ride, but once we started riding, there weren't many stops... I can't wait to go again. After I got back, I changed the oil on the VFR and bled the clutch then took it to the carwash... it was still dirty from LA and high pressure was needed... now the dirtbike is the dirty one, the way it's supposed to be!
yeah, that's me brother. remember the 'show yer mug thread?' the 71 in my name is the year I was born so I am 36. You can see I like to hide behind the anonymity offered by the internet since I use my name, my age and usually either my bike or my face for my avatar! Really, I never could come up with a cool handle so I just always used the shortened version of my name. and 36 does feel old sometimes!
