Here's my take on the subject. Now don't be to hard on me, only the 3rd attempt, but heres my thoughts on the why. Oh first this is actually a .5x3. inch decal. also it gives you an idea what it would look like on a white back ground, all though I'm shooting for clear. just loaded up larger than I would have figured. First, I like the globe part in placement in the original VFRworld logo, thing is it doesn't show up well at all, being used in the O of world word is way to small and busy, looks great on the web, but not in print work, so went this way, I also like this as it shows the whole world, also has a map like feel, I thought it's a nice touch. On the matter of font style this one to fits the bill pretty good. you need one thats easily recognizable, easy to read, I went with the lighter color with a red outline to make it stand out, gives it an edge, could be white, but went 10% black to show a silver on the world part to tie it in used the same out line and went black, seems to be the best color to be able to read it easily. it gets the message out, easy to read, has IMO a classy look and feel. whats ya think?

Looks good. Maybe something more compact to allow it to be placed anywhere?

I do like it RV, but to be brutally honest, if I had to chose.....I prefer the other sticker ideas posted on the decal thread. I kinda like the VFRWORLD posted in Italic style like the website logo has....so far that is my favorite, and then the one that SLO posted on his bike.....was that kinda enough criticism? Me sorry.....me only one man though....

...then again, maybe the "white" background is what is not blowing my skirt up??? Me no know...me confused...me sit down and eat lunc and think...me hungry...

Mmm 1/2" by 3" inches is pretty compacted, fwiw it would be die cut where you'd peel off the backing, if IMO was any smaller and you wouldn't see the lettering, is cool, need the feed back.

Don't let the white  freak you out, thats the only way at this time to show it. would be laid out on a clear decal, so I'd like to think one can picture that in their mind. Yea I know from reading the majority likes the vfrworld with the globe in the O but it does not reproduce well for a decal, that and it's like itty bitty too, so you really don't see it, makes ya go
So I went another way, I still like the basic layout other than some tweaking here and there. Whats ya think Michael?

    Here's another version

Now imagine that all you'll have is the out line as that is what would be cut out that you would peel off. I used the gray to help match the windscreen color

That looks pretty good RV. Can you make the ocean a darker blue? Just curious and what about making the "world.com" in italic or slant font as well? I know, I am a picky SOB.

Option 2 seems to be cleaner, but I think maybe a slant font, to make it look like its goin FAST.

those are both very nice. I think drewl missed the decimal when he said maybe something smaller. I say that cause I missed it at first and knew something was up... I'd put either of those on my bike. I think they are very classy looking. I hope we can get something finalized and buy them cause we started this thread over a years ago originally...

Okay hows this, I tweaked the world.com a wee bit, any more and it starts looking weird, same with the blue, I thought like you, made it darker, blends to much with the world letters also to dark you lose it when it's shrunk. also tried more green on the land part too, Na, that didn't really work either.

The plan is a die cut, which means it's about a 2mm cut from the outside contour of the decal design, not square,,Ooo yuk, tacky....

I like the third one, or the one you posted at 3:15, BUT, could I see it with the world.com in the same style and case and just a little bigger... it looks like it's tapering down to a point with the caps being smaller then the lowercase for the .com

    I really like it, though...

I'd bet it wouldn't be visible. This sticker is only about a centimeter tall...

Ok, this has my vote being on a clear background and cut close as you were talking about. I like it.

It's too bad this one doesn't show well when brought down to size...
