Time to finalize the VFRworld Logo and throw it on some black T-Shirts! RVFR, take a look at the ideas we came up with - can you do something with it?

I like Fern's logo. It's simple, creative, and cool looking. I would buy a T-shirt and sticker with that on it for sure!

I'm gonna Bump this thread since this is kind of coming up again so that others can review some of what we have covered. Likes dislikes, etc...

Here's what I am thinking, the globe located first, then lowercase, slipstream style vfrworld.com similar to the pnwriders decal that RVFR has. that's a really nice, subtle decal. I'd like to incorporate VFR into it somehow like the V4 or something that makes a VFR unique, but I don't want the decal getting too busy so for right now, I'm thinking the globe then a streamlined font saying just vfrworld.com... I need to get it sketched out, though...

I like the design that michael has. Just a simple sticker like that would be cool. I would put it on my bike on the windscreen near the mirror, like the decals that lockhart and SG put on there. Would be nice if it was translucent though.

on the back of the topcase. I hate bumper stickers... but a topcase sticker wouldn't be too bad.

    Here is my take:

The standard logo, in a straight line, minus all of the .com stuff and the "one world, one bike' text. Minimal clear background. 3/4" x 2" size.

    Just my .02

As mentioned by others: straight line, clear background, no www.

I think it would be great if it was transparent. I think that would allow it to work with any color and be placed anywhere. I just love the classiness of RVFR's below. Its hard to have classy with lots of colors and design but it was certainly pulled off due to the transparency.

that is beautiful Jason. That is just what I had in mind....a translucent design. If it looks classy and is translucent I think that many would be interested in it. what about adding the .com to the end of your design to give others an idea that it is a website? I mean, some might assume, but ya know...

I second that. the .com is a must. the whole idea is that we have something that looks good AND gets the word out that we are here waiting for them... we have built it, now they shall come... ;)

Translucent stickers are usually mylar and they turn to junk after enough outside exposure. Not to mention they really only look good on a white or clear surface. You just end up having to put a white underlay to get color to pop. Not to mention we'll need to mass produce them

A traditional vinyl cut decal might be the way to go. Could produce them in small quantities of white, black and a CF look... They'll last longer and are pretty easy to remove.

Horrible picture, but you get the idea: of how well it shows up on dark smoke screen:

Oh and for what it is worth I too can work it to have em made.
I agree some what with Sloav8a but the ones I had made (see above photo)for our local site, is a double laminate so the ink is protected, in fact that decal you see is two years old and still looks as good as new. but agree with the pop if it where to be on a white back ground, trick there is it would IMO look only good if you happen to lay it out on a white subject, plus I'm kinda sticker shy. I mean I like em to a point but they need to look good and classy and these I had laid out are IMO just that. So If folks want to see another version I'm up to it. thou in no way I'm I trying to maneuver in to a position to take any one others idea out, just throwing it out there. so far so good ;)

Yah I tend to avoid stickers too. Less is better so you don't look like this guy:

Only reason I got one on my nose is cuz the Honda one isn't visible behind my dark smoke screen.

I'd rock a VFRWORLD.COM decal in its place.

In my experience....I would have to disagree, as I have had lockhart and other translucent stickers last for quite awhile. I think that a diecut, or cut-out sticker would look great as well.
