You guys are a great inspiration. My dad's 70 and rides his Grizzley 700, does that count? :) He used to ride a bike many years ago. He always looks at mine and I can tell he wants to ride it. I've offered, but he's said he's afraid if he rides it, he'll have to go buy one. LOL

My dad taught me to ride a full size dirt bike before I could even touch the ground with both feet. The only rule was that I had to be able pick it up on my own and get moving again. I was 8 then and lived on dirt bikes till I was 18.

    BTW, I'm 35.

Since we're both members of the +60 club and live in the same province maybe we should form our own Division!

Maybe so. My son lives in Milton. I think that's close to you. I live in the 1000 Isalnds area. Maybe we could get together sometime. My son is an avid cruiser rider. Puts on thousand of kilometers. But he also has a track bike. He loves motorcycles.
I love his cruisers as well. One is a Big Dog Ridgeback. I still smile when he lites is up. What a machine. Hell....it's a motorcycle. The big boys toy that has always inspired free thinking and expression. Even art. Too bad so many have become so narrow minded. Talk about critics. I supose some don't like Tom Thompson either. Or Picassao! But it is what it is and many love it. I love motorcycles. I happen to have chosen a VFR. Love it. Love them all. Like I said before...I still have a smile on my face...... By the way...I am 63, a VFR rider and owner and a member of this forum....I don't ride in the winter for obvious reasons. Although I've seen snowtire talk here....I love some of the forums...and some of them....uh, not so much.

Man who have mind like steel trap should keep trap shut. Confucius???

    Better keep mine shut!

Hello I just joined today. Bought new 07 RWB and love it. Had cruiser bikes for the last few years and forgot how much fun it is to ride a real motorcycle.
I'll be 53 in a few weeks. Where does that put me in the geezer list?
Got my son into riding a few years ago and loves it too. Been riding since I was 16.
As soon as I get through the break in period I see what I can do.

Looking at 51 this July. It's the new "41"... right?

Glad to see a few with more ticks on the analog time piece than me. I noticed last year, that I'm quite comfortable heading for geezerville. It's way preferable to the alternative.

Campbellville is just about 10 minutes west of Milton on the Escarpment. Your son should come riding with our chapter of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club which meets every Wednesday evening at a local Tim's and rides our great back roads. Most of the guys do ride cruisers but there's also a ST1300, a V Strom, and a few sport bikes. We have around 50 members and a nice summer evening will draw about 25 riders. We usually split off into groups of no more than 8 though.

I'm planning on pulling the going-to-work-every-day plug soon and my wife and I are moving to the Fenelon Falls area in the Kawarthas. My V - Strom friend keeps suggesting a ride down to your neck of the woods sometime soon so when we do I will drop you a note.
