Clip Ons Under Top Triple

    has anyone or why would any put thier clip on under the top triple. does it have some sort of benefit?

    umm...

    haven't done it, but it would offer you the benefit of being a bit more forward.

    I'd imagine you could use clip ons from a similar year hurricane 600, as they use the same diameter forks if you wanted to pursue this further....


    *edit* but unless you moved your forks down, it would leave those 2 posts sticking up....and if you move your forks down, it will change the way your bike handles....just another thought I had.....

    yeah i'm in the process of doing f2 front end and rear end conversion, and i ordered some woodcraft 41mm clip ons from motoheaven and just wanted to know if that had any benefit...okay thanks alot.

    oh snap, if you are doing that, then the old hurricane clip ons won't work!


    btw, I'm hella jealous that you are doing that..my bike isn't worth doing that to. :(

    dude we have the same bike.......actually with the help of ebay, it was really not as expensive as i thought. from what i hear, its a night and day conversion. well after you upgrade to racetech suspension.

    It's mostly to move you down and forward. They won't work with fairings that weren't designed for them, not enough room.

    well...just because they started the same doesn't mean that it's worth doing to mine....

    mine was rode hard and put away wet too many times.

    and by put away, I mean, you know how kids will just drop their bicyles on their sides when they are done for the day? that's kinda what this looks like.
