So, who has a vanity (personalized) license plate? Here in Arizona, they are easy to get...just 25 bucks and it is easy to check if the plate you want is available by going on-line. So, who has one? And if you do, who feels comfortable telling us all what the plate is? Oh, and explain the meaning if it isn't obvious to all. I am angling for your VFR plate but you can also say if your cage has one too.

Ya know, I am always on the fence about a personalized plate. On one hand I would like one (like L8BRKR, KNEDRGR, 2WEELER, or something) then on the other hand it is easy for someone to remember. I had this *sshole pull some stupid maneuver on me in traffic awhile back, and they had a personalized plate. I memorized it....next thing I know I am driving thru the neighborhood, and I see this plate. I know where this clown lives now. Not that I am gonna vandalize his stuff, but hey, somebody might! I don't want to be remembered, I want to be forgotten! Famous words of "George Costanza" (Seinfeld)!

Yes, I am right there with you Bomber! I still remember "CLOSE", the jerk that almost sideswipped me FIFTEEN YEARS AGO as I rode down a local street on my road bicycle. (How about the irony of THAT plate coming too CLOSE to me?!) But, I memorized the jerk that honked at me yesterday on my road bike...he just had a regular plate. I would probably never do anything either...the Buddhist in me just can't cotton to ill will...it always comes back on you. BUT, if I had to file a police report my memory will be there. A regular plate will never stop some jerk from following you. Be a good little human and nothing will happen...we hope! :blah: :blah: :blah:

COOL! In AZ, we only get 5 letters for motorcycle plates but 7 for car plates.

I don't mind people memorizing my plates as I only cut loose on very specific roads with no traffic. When my commute turns into highway through the city and residential areas, I go the same speed as everyone else.

Calif. has hearts, hands, stars and stuff for vanity plates. Wierd to see pictures instead of numerics. How does a cop call that one in? Ida heart Boy Boy William.

I have to side with derstuka on this one.
Not that I ride like an idiot or provoke anyboby on purpose, but the less memorable my plate, the better,IMO.
Having said that, however,I would more likely remember who pissed me off by identifying something unique about the vehicle like a decal, custom tail lights, big chrome exhaust tip...etc..
The way people drive around here,it's easier to memorise the drivers who DON'T piss ya off!

I find that bullet holes or broken windows make cars easily identifiable following an altercation.

I think every driver should be issued a paintball gun with their drivers licence.
When someone pisses you off,you tag 'em with a paintball.
When the cops see a car with say,10 paint marks, they get pulled over and slapped silly.

my car was SIMUL8R for a long time. a buddy had SIMUL8 and I always told him to get the verb instead of the noun. When I got a car in 98 I got the tag. BZ's right though. Everyone knows when you pass them. My son will start driving it when it gets a new clutch, or I'd ditch the tags.
