Question for the *Insiders*

I want to support VFRWorld in some way and the insiders thing seems like a good idea.

Have you all who have joined enjoyed it so far?

Hell, the 20 bucks just to get a bigger avatar is worth it to me! I've had a new Mad Max picture, but it needed a bigger spot for it to look right.

Before you ask, I havent joined yet becasue of money. What 20 bucks is alot? you say. No its not, but I just dropped cash on some track days (i'll posy my dates soon) and money is going for new tires too. So, $600.00 sounds better than 620.00 when your looting the savings account.

For myself, this forum is a valuable resource. Since I can't give it my time, I decided to give it some money to help cover the support and maintenance costs. I do however love having the larger avatar!

But secretly, the best way to support forums you enjoy like this is money. That and I got tired of seeing the advertisements for a book called "VFR for IFR Pilots" on a motorcycle board.

 

I know what you mean about finding the $20. I raided a couple of accounts for a few bucks each to find it. I personally didn't pay/join for the features, but rather to support the forum. I run a couple of forums myself, and appreciate it when someone contributes toward the running costs of the hosting etc...

 

Well, I have talen alot from this forum in the way of advice, and people have been pretty patient and tolerant of some of my goofy qeustions, so I figure this is my way to contribute, you know, pay it forward, plus it's pretty much one of my favorite websites!!!

 

Is Manuella the VFRworld model? Anyway, who ever she is, she hasn't yet paid me a visit to deliver my lap dance. Mr. Moderator, I'm going to have to ask that you act on this matter at once... Thank you. :nod:

My contribution was strictly a "Thank You" and support gesture. I'm not even sure of what the basic features are, or how to use them properly. Sad, but true.

 

Same here ... I appreciate the time and effort that goes into running a forum and I have found a great deal of information and commerardere (?) here.

Well It's nice to be an insider!

As you all can see, my avatar is picture LGN001 took after one of our rides. I'm to the extreme right, I feel like a bag of corn nuts so I'm heading for the store. Nozzle and Derstuka are in a loving embrace with KC-10FE looking on behind them, wishing someone would hug him too!

Reg71 is loosening his jacket collar and Vman is playing with someones dog?

It was a nice ride...much debauchery and pillaging while escaping the Bronze!

Hi Everyone,
I always wanted to join but i thought it was alot of money each month, i mean i love hanging out and i get a lot of enjoyment and info. from this site.
I truly was supprised to see it is only the 20.00 and for a year ? thats cheap for what we get !!
I mean even cable is more money or a night out is more money each month.
well im very happy, oh there is something that upsets me about this subject .....
why i didnt do this sooner ? im not much into the internet however i really enjoy it here .
keep up the great job guys .
