Jason, just my 2 cents worth........I like the black, and it would be easier to re-sale, since a black seat would go with any vfr color.
Even with that said.............dang I sure do like the Yellow & Blue trim!

maybe they'll stitch in an fiber-optic light strip that can change color like the bowling lanes during disco bowling? (yeah, I did that Friday night)

Ya but they have a Candy Glory Red color too, that could be an exact match

I'm not going to let this decision happen that fast... Not till were on page 2 at least.

I too have the red and it does not match the red on the RWB but it does not look bad either. I transferred the seat from my red '04 so I'm stuck with the red, if I was to order one I would get the all balck. I think the RWB paint scheme is busy enough as it is. I'll try and take a pic in the next couple of days and if you like it, you can purchase the black (cheaper) and I'll pay shipping for both of us to swap, what do you think of that?

Jason, the blue is so subtle that it satisfies the need to make the seat unique, but at the same time does not really stand out or overpower the look. The more I look at it, the more I like it.

Ya it may look even better in real life if an exact match could be found. My drawing isn't working with the light or shadows in the picture either. So I think the blue is standing out a bit more than it would for real as well. 7 different blues, there's gotta be on that is close. Wouldn't match with any other bike though.

Don't think I would be getting red unless it was a very close match. I am so close to just going black that if there is any deviation in color it wont happen. Black is for sure the easiest way out and in the long run the "safest" decision. But the piping color is kinda what says "hey, that's a Sargent Seat!".

Anyone who knows there stuff will know that it's not an OEM Seat. I like the looks of the black and if I get one, that's going to be the one. Again, I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Sorry, I know this is an old thread. But Jason, I need to know what colour you went with for your Sargent seat.

My ass NEEDS a Sargent seat too on my RWB and I'm trying to decide which colour to go with. Do you have a picture of the seat you went with?

Thanks Michael for the great pics of your RWB with the red welt on your Sargent seat. Looks great!

Boy oh boy I'd know what I'd do... FWIW I vote yellow, but not sure it' even an option as I'd even go further yet and go white pilot seat keeping the rear section black with yellow piping. That would be a one of a kind huh?

I've contacted Sargent and you can customize pretty much the entire seat. The only thing that is not really customizable is the main seat area, if you go with their CarbonFX material. It's only available in black.

Sargent is sending me a "sample package" of the colours they offer for their vinyl/leather and their welting. Then I guess it's up to me to decide on the colours.

Yup, I'm aware of the Sargent group by and I'm getting in on the deal. Just can't decide on the colour. That's why I've asked Jason to post up a pic of the colour he selected....his last post was for black/black.

And yes, it's is a great deal on the seat.

Another fine question. My first thought of a white welt would be that it would look great at first but over time, the white would dull/dirty from use. Unless it cleans very easily.

It would be great to have a pic of each available colour on this one thread. I'm continuing to search the picture galleries to get a pic of each colour to compare them all.

If anyone has a good pic of your sargent seat, post it up on this thread. With any luck, we can get a pic of each colour all in one thread. And it would speed up the search!
