amazing that this post is still going.... you really started something derstuka.

I got tired of showing up at meets and having most of the conversation taken up by who's who on the boards. Turns out I'm not the only one having a hard time putting the real name to the nickname for everyone. That's when I decided that boring may be better for the boards and I'd save my excitement for the track.

When I joined this forum I was a Shadowrider and a week later, I wasn't.

And, apparently with this post, I just graduated to "member"!

StormHorse. Pretty basic really...I'm Native American...and My "Native/Spirit" name that my father gave me was Storm Horse. So I use that for multiplayer gaming, etc. Easy to remember...and in my opinion...pretty sweet and I don't run into it very many places.

I spent four years teaching English in Germany (former East Germany - Halle) and once commented that I really liked it there. A friend from there replied, "Du armer irrer!" (you poor fool). Another friend heard that, and it stuck. The 'D' was because it was easier to pronounce than my name 'Donovan'. Ergo IrrerD.

I chose the name "Badbilly," because my real name is Harley Davidson.

    Interesting thread.

I’m pretty much married to two brands namely BMW and Honda so I figure lets use it in my nick. It’s Honda spelled backwards capped on both ends by a reversed BM.

The VFR interest and connection?.......... Well the owner and rider of “Lady in Red” which was the feature of the December 2006 VFR calendar is my wife

speedyhawk101 well last name is hawkins and I got busted when I was in the military for evading the MP's. Well busted 5 days later. Anyway long story short, my 1st Sargeant started calling me "speedy" which led to my freinds calling me "speedyhawk" and later since they clocked me at 101 on 101st rd while assigned to the 101st div "speedyhawk101" just kind of stuck. Anyway sometime after I was getting a loan to purchase my VFR and I needed an Email address. The only thing that came to mind was "speedyhawk101" So eight or so years later I have numerous forum accounts and user ID's as "speedyhawk101"

Oh BTW I have not repeated such a careless and senseless act such as running from the law.

I lucked out and got sent to Germany where I was able to crank my WS6 wide open on a few ocasions...... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2952514

Hey Badbilly, ya, I'm a Davidson too. In my family we call them Davidson's, not Harleys. My wife and I joked about naming our first daughter Harlene. We have family t-shirts with the Harley X'ed out. I actually owned one in the
70's. It was a piece of shit. I decided never to ride parade floats, in spite of the fact they think it's patriotic and hip. My name is derived from the classic, historic train song. and my love for John Coltrane. And yes I understand the average H rider. If you don't know who Coltrane was, it's really a lost cause. I can't teach the un-teachable and the ignorant. Although I still try. Bob

EVvy is a shortened version of my last name given to me a while ago by my college roommates. Back when I had my first bike. Five of us shared a house; there were 3 Jim's, a Jeff and a Jay. Pretty popular party house and lots of calls so last names were in order. My nickname became EVvy. It somehow means something to me because that is when it all started, 3 out of 5 of us had bikes.

Actually my name was legally changed to Harley Davidson. I was christened "Milwaukee Boat Anchor."

The sound of trains has been around in music since Casey Jones was a tadpole. Maybe someday somebody will blow some blues on a E harp that sounds like a HD. Maybe titled something like " I Done Did The Mashed Potatoes."

I have custody of a KRTT that is literally brand new and was in storage since 1960. It will become a permanent display in a museum of motorcycling in Seattle. HD author Greg Field and I are prepping the bike as we have time. BTW Greg only writes about HD's he rides a Moto-Guzzi.

In the book are there any references to "The Lost Coltrane Harley?"

    Awww, you caught me. LOL..

Lots of good streaming Jazz on the net. Check out KLON-FM Long Beach, CA. A good mix. Had a show for four years on KUHF-FM Houston and a year on a commercial station KLYX-FM also in Houston.

    Cheers.

I wondered if one of my legs was suddenly a bit longer!
I'll check out some of the stations. I often tune into the jazz on XM. So much music...so little time!

For me, I've run nitrous on a couple street cars I've owned, I've been messing with it for about 20 years. It's a lot of fun in the car, I toy with the idea of spraying my VFR, but I like the bike to much. And I live in Virginia.

1984 - Worked as a pizza delivery driver. Long story short. started as G-spot and went through variations such as spot, speck, speck-oli, etc. and eventually ended up as spoto.
As for the spelling, it should be spelled Spotto. My boss didn't spell very well and it was left incorrect just to make fun of him.
The screwed up capitalization sPOTO is from LAN gaming parties.
Last minute game install and a caps lock on mistake. My character was named sPOTO instead of Spoto. The dweebs I was playing with thought is was so funny that they would boot me continually unless I left it as sPOTO.

    Sorry so long. :blah:
