I have become an official member of the VFR community today with the purchase of my new 08 candy glory red VFR:cool: :clap2:

I took it for a 300km spin today and loved every minute of it. This is a great bike.

I love it and i have lurked and read all about the vtec good bad and have promised not to read another one of those threads. I love the vtec its fun, different sounds great who cares if it doesn't really do anything or its not needed. To me it just adds character to the bike.

I have finally found all that i was looking for in a bike.

    Well done mr Honda:clap2:

will add better pics later too busy riding at the moment

    Nice!

I would struggle with a color choice between the red and the RWB if I were in the market for an '07 leftover.
    Yours is really sharp.

    Enjoy!

There's one of these at my local dealer in that color.

It's a beautiful color, especially in bright light.

Congrats on the purchase, and welcome to the best VFR site on the 'net!

I agree with Jason, the retro truly has our desire; however, pics don't do the candy red any justice....you have to see it in person to get 'full absorbtion'. It really is a beautiful color.

Welcome to vfrworld. we are glad to have you here. Now you can stop lurking and join in all the 6g vs 5g vs 4g antics that help to pass the winter months for those in the colder climes.

I often wonder about slang translations with our international members. i.e. does sick still mean something good to someone in Australia? I know some of our older members are probably not familiar with the new hip, keen lingo.

    Welcome home,rapsidy.
I have been doing a lot of soul searching lately trying to come up with my favorite colour to repaint my bike.(It is silver now, please no hate mail from silver fans) But i'm looking for something that goes "POW".
I think this colour looks absolutely killer! Nice bike!
    Cheers

In the US for 2007, I think that color was called Candy Dark Red. It is a beautiful color. Don't give the VTEC any thought, I think it gives the bike character. Welcome aboard.

Me sorry Reginald. Sick = It is my opinion that the motorcycle that you purchased appears quite spectacular in that candy red color.

That is a beautiful bike. I am torn between an 08 grey and a new 07 red. Can anyone tell me how different the US red is vs the European red? Just for curiosity, thanks.

Yes, I was wondering too...is that the same red as my USA 2007? Cause mine is a lovely color...deep rich intensity, not too orange, not too "primary."
Congrats on the new bike! Good on ya!
