Got caught out in some shitty weather last time out. luckily I had put on my rain gear over my leathers, but it wasn't put on in case of rain, it was for the cold air. Now this gets me thinking about one piece riding all weather suits, I've never tried an Aerostich, have some riding buddies that have em. Due in part I'm a fair weather rider I've never put much thought into whats out there, whats your take and or experience? Oh I'm liking the Spidi admiral too, to bad it only comes in black.

I have a Cortech riding suit (they no longer make the one piece) and it works pretty good but you still need to add a layer under the suit. I am going to get rid of it because I don't fit into it as well as I should and use the money towards an aerostitch..... I think the fit should be you utmost concern and the only reason I hesitate to buy an aerostitch is the fact you can't try them on and they usually need alterations for different types of riding.

Hop on to Aerostich's site and run through their sizing tool. Plug the info in and they get back pretty quick with recommendations on whether you can do 1 piece or have to do 2 piece.

I tried to convince them to make a 1 piece for me (apparently you can't be tall and skinny), but they had pretty strong arguments for a 2 piece.

I wouldn't be too concerned about ride position, you tell them and they build the suit for your normal position.

If you go that route, I'd get measured by a tailer and send those along. That'll ensure a proper build.

Aerostich. Made in USA. Top quality. I've had mine since '92. When you need it fixed or altered, just mail it to Minn and they turn it around in a week. They re-fit mine when I got (ahem) bigger in my forties. Great folks.

In Oz Tigerangel Gortex Element is easily the best all weather motorcycle clothing, have had mine for 4 years and has served me well through many hours of torential rain without any leakage.

The VFR's excellent fairing combined with my TA Element Jacket, Pants, AlpineStar GoreTex SMX-3 Boots, AlpineStar Tech Road Gloves keeps all water out in comfort allowing for full consentration on the road and conditions.

I had a stitch for about 2 years. It is waterproof, safe, warm, and well made. The people at Aerostitch are great to deal with. That being said, the weather here in the Southwest is just too hot for the one piece. You need to go 100mph with all the zippers open to survive here in the summer. I switched to Motoport. It's on the way. We'll see.

+1 for Aerostich. I've had a Roadcrafter jacket for about 5 years and think it's the best. It's very well thought out--the pockets are excellent, the wrists can cinch tight with hook/loop, the body armor is good, the neck material is very soft.....somebody stop me. And I agree--they're awesome to work with--I had a guy use his webcam to show me different options, colors, etc.

Plus I can layer underneath and it keeps me warm down into the 30's. My hands and feet get cold long before my upper body does.

Just my $.02--those other suits look pretty sweet too.

Need some help here. Found out that the Spidi Admiral suit came in white? but it was only available in Europe or the Land down under? Maybe Japan, as I found it on the Spidi Site. If by chance you folks in the other parts of this great world can help out by locating one, that would be really cool of you. Here's what it looks like. IMO this one looks way better than the black version we get over here. LOL yea I know it'll get dirty.

Just a bump, still looking for one of these ^, more than likely you need to be in the land of Oz or Japan as further looking tells me so. if by chance you have the ability to purchase one let me know.
    Thanks in advance.

R, if you're having no luck, perhaps you might want to consider ordering an Aerostitch after all? I only say that because I am about to pull the trigger on one myself for commuting/touring. Virtually everyone I know that has one absolutely loves it and says that Aerostitch provides excellent customer service as well. Just a thought.

Aerostich! I've tried to be happy with others I still come back to Stich. I have 2 Dariens one regular and one light. I just ordered the pants and I need to have them altered they are the best. I hate to spend the $ but you get what you pay for.

Could you be happy with something else? I'm sure but if you can buy the Stitch the customer service is worth any extra.

See why you'd want one, it'd make me feel like a Macros pilot unfortunately have never seen one here and like to check out Motorcycle shops regularly, sorry not much help to you but my latest purchase are these Alpinestars Octane SuperMoto Glove's for hot Summer's day riding.

That's a great idea Nozzle, why didn't I think of that? This is the captain speaking, 'We're next inline for take off, please check your seat belts"............

RVFR I'm still waiting to get a response back from SPIDI about the White Admiral............
