    Yep You're right,
I bought a cbr f4i shock off ebay, mounted my escort 8500 radar w led light extension, got a mount for my garmin 2720 and hard wired. Bought a laminarlip windshield extension for the double bubble windscreen.
I am 6'1" and now i sit in a pocket of air instead of a jetstream of air. Much warmer too. I also got a new Icon Domain helmet w huge vents on top and wing on rear and it sits rock steady at 100mph.
Also wrapped the grips in gel tennis racket wraps. All this adds up to 1 comfy bike that still hauls.

Instead of just removing the hoses off of the PAIR valve reed cage covers (on the front and rear cylinder valve covers) and plugging the hose fittings on the OEM covers with a rubber cap, stopper or some other method, these covers replace the OEM PAIR reed cage covers with a plate. The plates are machined by a guy from VFRD who goes by the handle of Toro1. The plates are made out of aluminum and are a very simple, and yet, cleaner way to do your PAIR block off at the cyclinder head valve cover when you remove the system.

wow... i dont even know what half the stuff you guys are saying means..
im new to this whole biking thing, so we'll see where it goes
so far on my 06 i've put a west coast cycle alarm and 21 color glow kit. i have yet to put the frame sliders in that i've gotten, and if it ever arives from hong kong (i think) i'll put on a tank pad so i stop scratching the tank. i also hope to put some airbrush on it to do a bit more personalization. aside from that i dont even know what else there is to put on yet. plus no point changing performance until im used to the bike enough to want more out of it.

1.) Remove and refresh the carburetors (done)
2.) Remove and lubricate throttle and choke cables (done)
3.) Remove and replace front brake pads, renew caliper slides (done)
4.) Replace Advance AutoCrap battery  with Yuasa AGM unit (April)
5.) Remove chain and sprockets (done yesterday)
6.) Replace chain and sprockets with gold chain and Vortex sprockets (soon)
7.) Take bike somewhere to have master link staked...

Installed the Factory Pro shift improvement kit and shift star, hopefully will be ordering a new shock within the next 2 weeks or so. Looks like I'll be going with the WP shock thanks to RVFR's recommendation.

A chromed extended swing arm, I'll do the CBR900 to VFR swap, you know, get rid of the single sided swingarm and put a giant getto arm back there, and drop the bike about 6 inches!

No, not really, just another set of front rotors, and a through spring cleaning, and perhaps a CBR929 shock upgrade.

I will post some pictures when it's done, right now all of the fairings are off the bike waiting for the Motad to show up from Jet-Hot and for the AP-2 fusebox and relay kit to get here from Japan. If all of the stuff shows up, I hope to have the bike completely back together by this weekend. I'll try to post some photos of the upgrades installed and of the complete bike after that. I might not have time as I hope to be out riding it finally!

The only winter (almost spring) mod I'll be doing is adding a custom made hugger (from rivcyko)
However, I have been drooling over a set of LV carbon slip-ons, so who knows maybe I'll a set of those as well...
