This is for all those that have voiced their displeasure with the 2 Bros. Stash slip-on exhaust system (1 fake can). I just can back from the MC Show in NY, the Two Bros. rep said there is now a full dual slip on system available for 02-08 VFR. In fact, he said he has heard about all the complaints on the net with the fake can system! He also mentioned that the carbon fiber version (part no. 005-650407V) is better at dissipating exhaust heat then the Ti (part no. 005-650408V)or Al (part no. 005-650406V). He also mentioned the Two Bros website may not be updated with the full dual, but it is in the catalog they were distributing at the show.

I agree, just great, I've had my system for 8 weeks. I think they should give us owners of the previous system a chance to buy the new piping to upgrade our current systems. I'll have to call them. I have two good cans so all I need is the upgraded pipes with the cross over. I love the sound of the exhaust and I don[t want to go to something else, but I would like both canisters working.

By the way, the cost of the True Dual system cannot be that much more than the current setup. Both canisters you get with the current setup are real canisters and the only thing really missing is about 10" of connecting pipe. The real cost of the system is in the canisters, so I can't believe this true dual setup could be that much more.

The system you are looking at, 2 bro's VFR800Fi Dual V.A.L.E.™ Slip-On Exhaust System, has been out for a while. Yes it does have 2 cans but the exhaust only goes through one can, so its not a true dual system.

If you look at the exhaust pipe routing in the picture you can see it only go's to the one side. It would be nice if 2 bro's came out with a connector pipe to make both active, but I don't see it happening. Hope they prove me wrong.

The existing Stash and the M2 VALE on the VFR are not True Dual as in exchaust is routed to both canisters. The M2 VALE is true dual on bikes like the B-King, but not the VFR. I hear they did it since running both canisters lowered torque on the VFR. Check out the Two Brothers site it clearly now says that the exhaust only routes through the right canister. The left canister is a real canister but exhaust is not routed through it (what a waste). That is the way my system is on my VFR. It was annoying when I first received it since I was not aware of this fact. I bought it from a reseller who didn't state this on their website. So I was a bit surprised when I received the system. It sounds awesome however, so I did not pull it off. I was thinking about finding a muffler shop who could fabricate a new set of pipes to make both canisters work but I just haven't had time. Now if Two Brothers actually comes out a real set of connected canisters I'd like to just get the piping. Well I already sent them an email, well see...stay tuned....

    Action,

Have you ever pulled your P1 silencer out of the canister? It sounds great with the gold P1 in there (and it looks a little better too) but with the P1 out wow, what a sound.

PARed, yeah I have pulled the silencer out and you're right, it sounds great. The reason I keep it on, is I work all kinds of strange hours and it makes it easier when I come home late at night or leave real early. The bike had the exhaust on it when I bought it. I talked to a local muffler shop and and they said they could weld me up a connector pipe no problem. After having the bike for a while it doesn't bother me any more so I think I'll leave it as is.

I bought a 2001 VFR brand new in 2001. Had 23,000 miles on her when I sold her about a year ago ..:frown: I miss her so much I just couldn't stand it any longer and I bought a 2006 VFR with 850 miles on her today.

I won't pick her up until next week. My bike comes with the two brothers exhaust on it but the exhaust doesn't look like anything that two brothers has for the VFR.

Can anyone identify this exhaust system model number?
What can you tell me about this particular model of 'two brothers racing' can?
    Is it the 'stash' model?

    Thanks,

    Gawain in Bristol, TN

This is odd. the Two Bros. rep at the MC show did say there is now a full dual slip on system available for 02-08 VFR in the 08 printed catalog, and that the Two Bros website may not be updated to reflect this. I'm not ready to order yet, but before I do I'll call Two Bros.

you would think that the website would be eaiser to update than printing catalogs...

unless they are trying to sell off most of the single outlet system first

I am not suprised that Two Bros. had not updated their website.

There service sucks! (I know I am not alone in that thinking)

When one of you guys call them for the connecting pipe to replace the Stash pipe, let us know what type of shit you get from their service people.
