I was thinking that it might be time to seek professional help concerning this sickness I have developed since I purchased my new VFR.

I seem to be spending way too much time online searching for upgrades to my machine and riding apparel :smash: . Is there anyone else out there who has developed this disease, or is it just me? First it was Heli Bars, then O2 sensors, then exhaust system, then air filter, then windscreen, then Pazzo levers, then Sargent seat, then Powerlet kit, then tank bag, then Seat Sak! Can anyone tell me if it ever ends? Please tell me it doesn't and that I really don't have a problem - I require immediate reassurance !

Man I wish the weather was better........................................

Never ends and carries over to each bike you purchase. The sad part about it is the average person never gets their monies worth out of them before they get rid of the bike. Oh well, the main thing is to enjoy the process as much as the ride.

All you are doing is just customizing your baby to you....in other words, you are just showing your love for her.....now if we could only get our gf's/wives to understand this passion!

I am just addicted to riding it. I have taken every opportunity to ride since I got it. I hate cold weather, but I have still been out in 34 degree weather just because the sun was shining and the roads were dry. Is it an addiction. probably. I even find myself looking at her in the garage, petting her, and telling her I will ride as soon as I get a chance.

The snow and ice on the ground just rub salt in the wound.

I am counting down the days until I will be able to straddle my lover again.

OKC, good to see I'm not alone. Mine is kept in the garage and I have to keep going out there to just check it out.
You're also right about the mods. You get one thing on there, and it's like OK, now what am I going to add.
I'm waiting on the Hyper-Lites to come in the mail, and that should wrap up the mods for the winter. I can justify the Hyper-Lites because it's a safety issue.
    Good luck on the addition!

LOL, So true. I guess that is why I went through a divorce seven years ago.

Look at it this way. One could say that upgrades can make you safer out there, that, or take bigger risks. :decision:

Chomper, check them out. My friend has these on his bike and WOW what a difference when you are looking at them from behind. They are super bright.
Come spring I'll feel a little safer about being rear ended by a cager.
