I'm really looking forward to trimming down my accumulation.

Things kinda got out of hand here...lol!

I don't have one regret though about any of the purchases I made. Every single one of them I was happy to get!

The guy in the unit next door to me is a military veteran (Paratrooper), in the process of cleaning out his unit - which isn't very big....maybe 15x15. He lives in a 40' long motor home in Port Orange. He just lost his wife earlier this year but while she was still alive they'd travel all over the place in that RV. He said he'll probably sell it in the near future. I asked him where he'd live and he said "I don't know."

People all over are mulling things over regarding the stuff they have --- and their current living situation.

I'm good with it and am looking forward to this next chapter in my life, if I can get there! Simplification!

At my unit today this was lying on the concrete right in front of the doorway.....

Yea, I get it. Having all the bikes is fun and a sense of pride once they are running and looking good. But the time comes when you open that door and you say .. you, you , you and you gotta go.

Hope the next chapter is full of riding Bazz...

Man I here you guys. I am not a good collector. I do regret selling some of my bikes, but I think we are coming up on the time when stuff has to go. We are down to 5 now, and that is too much.
    NSR - keeping
    Duc- keeping
    Red- keeping - ish
    Ed- RC36 proj not started
Cheetoo- CBR600 runs like a swiss watch and 50/50 go. My son may want to buy.

Resto mod RC36 will determine a lot. If she comes out real nice (better then Red) then she stays and Red goes. CBR will go if my does not want it most likely. My wrists can handle the truth!

There's a guy out at my storage unit facility who, along with a couple other guys, buy and sell stuff. They have a few larger units they sell out of. I've had a few conversation with him about this - and specifically regarding sport bikes like ours. His opinion was you should be able to command decent $ for them....especially given what other bikes are going for. Scooters for example...you can't get a decent one for under $3K. And there are people who look at a motorcycle (including scooters) as transportation.

This is why I feel putting two new tires on before listing plus doing oil and filter change is a really smart move marketing-wise.

And helps you position your listing in a higher range.

I look at our local (Daytona Beach) CL listings in the motorcycle category routinely and aside from there being way too many Harleys I see some really poorly written listings. And a lot of BIG money for many of those bikes.

I even browsed Iconic's listings last night - in their Buy It Now section and they aren't exactly giving them away. And neither should we...when the time comes. :)
