Ever since covid people in Kali tend to think they can do whatever. I had an asshole pull a U-turn on the highway in front of me without any warning on the way to work. You got jackass doordash drivers watching their GPS and driving through red lights and making last minute turns all over the Fn place. I think I am getting old and just don't like people. hahaha

I too have had people stop and another do a u-turn. I know I am old. I'm 82 now, relegated to living in a mobile home park. My home is less than 10' from the street, like many of the others, which happens to be on one of the main exit/entrances. There are idiots that live in here and delivery trucks that do 30-40mph or more on their way by. Kids pets and lots of pedestrians walk out to side streets where they park. Woman are just as bad as the men. There are speed bumps and stop signs but they are meaningless.

Kaplan is now a Ducati dealer. He's been posting some Ducati content. Thought this might be of interest to some here:

3 Felony counts, when he would have just received a citation if he would have stopped.

Also, I think the cop was irresponsible with his pursuit all along the right-of-way, like that.

Are there any scenarios where they can use PIT maneuver on a bike?

I doubt it. Too dangerous. Unless they knew the rider was an escaping murderer or something. This was just a garden variety traffic offender. :D

Last day of my one month Summer Vacation. Had a party last night, the brisket was incredible. 14 hours... literally melted in your mouth. So after cleaning up everything, including the smoker, treated myself to a ride for lunch. Beauty day in the PNW.

The video is HD, so be sure to check/change in settings.

That was fantastic! Just the way a riding vid should be done, IMHO. Thanks for the tip on the playback quality. I went to the YT page and changed the settings to 1080p60HD and much better!

What an awesome road to ride on too.

And your old girl sounds great!

    Thanks for sharing, Capt! :)

Cool vid! The way he describes the race VFR makes me think of my '88. Just a pleasure to ride.

I'm really glad you warmed up to Big Red. You seemed a little cold at first. It does so many things really good, where other bikes may do just a couple things great but fall short in most other areas.
