My girl at the tag office is going to do an eyebrow roll tomorrow on the bike from Bama. The person on the title passed away and I have a form showing another person took legal ownership. But they never actually transferred the damn title. Then she sold it to another person and I have that bill of sale. Again - no one transferred the damn title. Then that person sold it to the guy I bought it from and I have that bill of sale. You guessed it. He never transferred the damn title. I have a bill of sale from him plus his most recent registration form in his name. How the hell the state of Alabama can let someone register a motorcycle when they don't even have a title in their name for it is beyond me! This is going to be good...lol....stay tuned!
Good luck with that Bazz… I’m sure you will get it straightened out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks - and I agree. These folks are used to seeing all kinds of crazy stuff when it comes to buying and selling vehicles. There's always a way to get it done. I just hope we can do it in one visit. I will bring all this paperwork with me when I come there on the Tenn. bike, which has a normal title scenario. Then if it's gonna be a problem doing the Bama one - it will save a trip over. So far the first three bikes all have the same exact tag - but with one sequential number increase. If I can get all 5 done with one digit apart it would be so cool and something that never crossed my mind until I looked at the tags today. Here's the last 2 I did.....see what I mean? And the one I did Tuesday is "921"
