After I bought my VFR800FI mid-November, I now have a do-everything bike...so, I could think about getting something specifically relegated to canyon-hooning and track days.

    Et voila:
    My new 2007 CBR600RR....

Rode it for about 120 miles today....

This thing is a frickin' missile...it feels like you're strapped onto the Millenium Falcon making the jump to hyperspace when it accelerates. Wave bye bye to those left behind, Blue Falcon!

As the Brits say, "Wot a bike"

    Anyone interested in a fully-dialed (suspension-wise) and immmaculate '01 F4i? :tongue1:

That said, if I could only own one motorcycle, it would be the Viffer. As excellent as my (now two) CBR6's are, I don't have an emotional attachment to them. But only after two weeks, I *do* have an emotional attachment to the Viffer.

Congrats, I know just what you're talking about, other than the 9500 rpm at 75mph thing it's a really cool bike.

Actually, it spins 6100 rpm at 70, or about 6700 rpm at 75 mph.

I'd like to take you f4i for a spin, but I think they are just too small for me. That new one sure is pretty. That's the first one I have seen that color.

Well, if you change your mind on taking the F4i for a spin, let me know.

Yes, the new one is very pretty...I am surprised as to how many people have not seen it in this color.

Sweet looking bike, and according to most of the moto journalists it is the best all around sportbike of the year. First one I've seen with that color scheme. BTW, how much are you asking for your F4i ?

That's beautiful man. If you have the means I would suggest getting as many toys as you want. How fast would you say it goes if you had to *guess*?

    $4500.00

The bike has 35,000 miles on it, but it runs like new and handles better. The bike has been professionally serviced by Berkeley Honda at all it's service intervals. It has 3,000 miles on it since it's 32,000 mile interval service, and a new chain, OEM sprockets and Metzeler Sportec M-1s were installed at that service interval. It is completely stock except for a fork revalve by Traxxion Dynamics and the Penske shock. Front forks revalved by Mike Fitzgerald while he was still at Traxxion Dynamics. Penske rear shock. No more stupid Honda HMAS. Suspension set-up nailed by Dave Moss, suspension tuner for Celtic Racing and Chaz Davies' bikes while the bike was a Miller Motorsports Park for an Apex Trackday. I rode the F4i at Miller after the Superbike race weekend, and after Dave did some small tweaks to my initial set-up, the bike was on rails. I had my knee on the deck at over 100 mph through several corners, including "Scream" and "Witchcraft" and the bike handled absolutely beautifully. The suspension work was over $1000, and the bike literally handles better than new. My buddy on his RC51 had a hard time chasing me down. I also just replaced the fork oil in June prior to the track day at Miller. Moreover, the bike is immaculate, close to showroom condition.

From what I've seen, top speed is 162 mph.

I am so jealous. I want one of those to throw on the track. I should of never bought my house because then I would be able to have a toy like that.

    Congrates on your new toy.
