Any idea what model these carbs are for?

Got these in the mail today. Sender said he thought they might be for a 500.

I have no clue.

Some parts are missing, obviously.

At least they are nice and clean!

Maybe 84-85 vf500f carbs.

Look clean. The diaphragms good? Have the S pipe too?

Thanks! Haven't disassembled anything yet. First wanted to try and ID what I have.

Will take a peek inside tomorrow probably and see what's under the hood.

 

Nice you have the bushings for the linkage. Hate when peeps take these apart and then want to sell. Would rather they be fully assembled and dirty lol.

Those little bits are hard to find/replicate

The person who sent them to me is a longtime motorcycle guy and someone I bought a bike and bunch of parts from this past summer. Great guy - truly. He sent then because he knew i would be able to use or find a good home for them and he just didn't want/need them himself and especially didn't want to throw them away.

Nothing having to do with price was even discussed. But I told him I would sent some money once I figured it out. Which I just did, because the other part he sent with these is a working fuel cap for an RC26 w/key - and I KNOW those are worth something!

vf 500 measure diameter of port after throttle plate to id which year or decode the factory id numbers.

capt80s sure to know.
