Need to screw around with the audio settings for wind noise, I wish you could hear that little engine screaming better. It's pretty much at 9 - 11 grand the whole time.

I think I was getting some extra wind noise effect between the camera case and the side of my helmet.

I had SO MUCH FUCKING FUN. That part of the Island is perfect for that bike. On a Tiddler Tour, but can run thru the 6 gears and bop along at 60+ when I want/need to.

I was riding with CB100 / CB125 / Chinese 190-CL90 chassis / bored SL100.

 

Wow! No wonder it looked so fast in the video. It would probably beat me on my '75 XL175 too!

R.I.P. to a legend. Motorcycle pioneer and WW II veteran John Penton......

John Penton, who set a transcontinental speed record in 1959 on a motorcycle built for street use and then helped revolutionize off-road racing with his own brand of light, nimble bikes, died on Sept. 7 in Amherst, Ohio, west of Cleveland. He was 100.

His death, in an assisted living facility, was confirmed by his son Jack.

Mr. Penton never lived more than a few hundred yards from the farm where he grew up in Amherst. But he developed a sense of risk-taking and adventure — and a fighting spirit — by playing quarterback and pole-vaulting in high school, and then by serving in the United States merchant marine and the Navy in the Mediterranean and the Pacific during World War II.
