    No....THANK YOU, 6!

Planets lined up for this one, gotta say.

I already had 2 bikes scheduled for pickup in NY next week....so called my transport guy and he said he had room for 2 more so would be happy to swing by and grab this one too (said 17th-18th) - so I will be getting all 3 on the 20th-21st!

The seller was a very nice guy and was very happy to know the bike would be going to a good home.

So thanks, 6.....you done gud, my man! :)

    Very cool.

    Couple notes....

I've seen some terrible "HRC" placements and that one is right up there.

Wrong front rotors, so something's been done.

Likely when that left muffler got "clearanced" by the road. Which means those left cowls probably didn't begin life on this bike. Which is not a bad thing.

Goofiest mirrors I think I have ever seen.

Oh, and, Hondaline Center Stand Kit. Don't see many.

    Thanks for the observations, Capt.

Going to be a busy year for me working on all these machines to get them back up to speed.

I feel very fortunate to have the support I've received from so many folks, including yourself.

Will post pics after she arrives.

    Cheers!

In Post #6 above I mentioned I had two other bikes coming along with this RC24. Here they are.

A '73 CL350 and an '87 VFR700F plus two extra wheels for the VFR.

Both bikes have sat for a couple years but were running when parked.

    Bib Man!

"Oh, and, Hondaline Center Stand Kit. Don't see many." Hondaline center stand. I was under the assumption all 750s came with a center stand. hmm.

Here's the center stand on the 750 I purchased recently. Looks different from the one on this bike. Maybe that's what the Capt is referring to.

It came separated from the bike for some reason:

NOT a Hondaline Center Stand. But a decent home brew or aftermarket. I have never seen one like that.

In Europe they did. Had to buy the kit in the US. Same thing with the 1990 - 93 VFR. And the clock.

So all European delivery 750's had center stands. What about those that were exported to other countries, such as Canada? Optional for those bikes?

Lastly.....is there such a thing as a center stand from the factory that is different from the Hondaline shown on the bike I am buying in Post #9? Or was Hondaline the default model the factory used.

    Thanks!

Also wondering if the one in Post #14 would also work on any of my RC26's?

I guess since it's in my possession....that's a question I should be able to answer. I will work on it and report back!

The "Hondaline" stand was the same one that was installed at the factory for other markets. I think the Canadian models came with them installed. There was not another "Honda" version.

The frames are identical between the RC26 and 24, so yes. If it fits one, it will fit the other.

Ahh, that would explain why I have a center stand. Which I was using as a color test and leave off the bike. It is now Repsol Orange. lol That way I don't leave it on the bike when I am done working on the bike.
