Left switch gear

Hi all,
I am having issues with my left switch gear indicator switch. They have been slow and intermittent lately. I asked my mechanic to have a look. He reported that the contacts in the switch are quite worn. I can't seem to find a replacement left switch gear online. Is there a way of reconditioning the interior so the indicators work. The other switches on the switch gear work fine.

Have you tried cleaning them. A slight bend might help make good contact also, if you can get to it. (This is by your foot, yes?)

Yes the left handlebar switch block with indicator, horn and headlight hi lo.

Just about any Honda switch from that era is compatible, but it might take some re-pinning at the connector to match the colors to the wire harness.

Is yours a 98/99 or 00/01?

 

I've never had to replace one, just clean and relube them. Worth a look inside!

 

I have, but it is rare. Nothing looked "bad", but no matter what I did, it was finicky.

 

2000, I think CBR 600 f4i fits or a Blackbird.....

AND it's working really well now. A heap of gunk in there. I worked very carefully and put it all back together, feels brand new, indicators working well without delay or clicks.
