    100%!

I try to be a good person and have to wonder if karma really does kick in at times. There today a few units down an older man was trying to get this very old antique washing machine up some ramps into his pickup. The machine had casters on it but his freaking truck bed sat up so freaking high the ramps had a steep angle and he was by himself. So I went over and helped get it done for him.

I've been by myself before trying to move something large/awkward/heavy and when I get some help I'm very grateful for it.

"An Officer and a Gentleman" - 1982 - airing tonight on TCM at 10:30pm ET.

    What a great movie!

Richard Gere rides a 750cc T140E Triumph Bonneville. Paramount purchased two of the motorcycles from Dewey's Cycle Shop in Seattle. The stunt bike is on display in the Planet Hollywood restaurant, Orlando, Florida. In the United Kingdom, Paramount linked with Triumph Motorcycles (Meriden) Ltd on a mutual promotion campaign. Triumph's then-chairman, John Rosamond, in his book Save The Triumph Bonneville! (Veloce 2009), states it was agreed cinemas showing the film would be promoted at their local Triumph dealer, and T140E Triumph Bonnevilles supplied by the dealer would be displayed in the cinema's foyers.

I watched it last night...reminded me of what a great movie it truly is. If you've never seen it - might be worth checking out. It was a "surprise" hit the year it came out. No special effects....just great acting, great dialogue, and a great plot. We lost Louis Gossett, Jr. at age 86 last year. He won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, first ever African American to do so. His acting was fantastic in it.

Not really a "random photo", but I can't recommend this video from CTXP enough. This is my favorite piece of motorcycle related video I've ever watched. Beware that it may jerk a few tears out of you towards the end.

Thanks for the tip on watching An Officer and a Gentleman. It was a great movie. My favourite part is watching everyone in the bar talking to each other, not looking at their stupid phones like now. It was the eighties and we were having so much fun. And I was riding my new 1982 Yamaha 550 Vision. Good times.
