    Hard pass @ $2500... even 1500... even if it was right down the street.

    No title, no bodywork.

    "Great for vintage racing" Is it?

    "Motor turns over as it should, with good compression" "Good" is subjective. Is it the calibrated 'some resistance against your shoe sole'?

    I would def low ball, but I would enjoy a project like that. I would actually prefer another '86 500 more. Maybe one of two bikes I should have kept. :(

    I see that us guys with lots of experience with seller’s descriptions take it with a grain of salt. Usually when you get these bikes home you find the real story behind the description. It has been a rare experience that once I get the bike home everything is where it should be or working. I usually have to spend more time and money on the project. Remember we are buying someone else’s headache. So getting it cheap is the key to a happy project. In the end isn’t that what we are looking to do?

    I applaud The Captain for picking the description and pics apart … nothing like experience.

    Now, where’s my check book? Roque … I’ll be buy this afternoon to pick you up for a trip to Florida!
