I agreeeeeee ! It's a beautiful example of a beautiful bike.

 

She is nice, but a little outta my price range. I like the license plate though!

 

Left muffler shows signs of a tip over, but besides some worn bar end weights, very nice. Something about that tail section just doesn't sit right for some reason, but I don't think it's anything. Maybe it's the tail that seems twisted a bit.

 

The HONDA decal on the tail looks a little off to me … maybe that’s it ?

Of all the decals applied by Honda, those seem to have the highest propensity of being "off" a bit. But some part of that tail is def twisted a little.

 

The tail is off. The subframe must be bent downwards on the left side. I think that is why the Honda looks off as well as the black fender.

Exactly. Maybe a tip over in the garage added a push to the left side. Bummer. Can be fixed if the owner is willing. I have a particular set of skills.... lol

It is a VERY NICE bike, but when you're asking $9500 (Bwaaaa-hahahahahaha), that thing needs to be pretty much fuckin' perfect. Actual "showroom like condition", as claimed.

I'd almost swear that tail section and solo cowl have been repainted. And I think the forward tabs on the solo cowl have been eliminated.

Really wish the pics were higher resolution, perhaps picking up some left, front turn signal damage.

I just saved all the photos to a folder for future reference for my restoration work on mine.

Agree the asking price is way high, although I appreciate that these are iconic machines and finding one in this good of condition is on unicorn level!

I may reach out to him to start a conversation.

 

Ask him what color the clouds are in his reality.
