New to me '84 VF700F

Just purchased a broken in '84 and looking forward to getting it on the road soon.
Right now it seems like a fairly solid moto but for a few things.
First, the clutch fluid window is broken out so I have to figure that out before I can test drive it at all.
Second, the engine idles great on choke but stalls when the choke is off. If I rev it up to 1500-2000 before turning the choke off it will idle at 3500-4500.
Past that, I don't see anything wrong with it but I'll have to shake it down to find out.
