These are the Chinesium units that are the exact same ones sold from 6 different companies?

Most likely. I am going to send out my radiator to Mylers in UT to be straightened. I was just looking at alternatives. Not much that I would trust.

OK. They are actually decent. I have reports from 3 people I trust. Mounted on 86 VFRs and Hawk GT.

No matter the vendor, it is a gamble. Not regarding actual structure, just placement / angles of mounting tabs, frame and fan.

Pre-mount. Note oddities if present. Have a real Rad shop make adjustments if needed and then have it pressure tested. Much nicer when said Rad shop is in your area regarding some back and forth around "adjustments". I have one just a little South of me. Totally restored the whole cooling system on my 1971 C2500 GMC.

They actually can be an amazing value. Decent reports from the Rad shops regarding general build quality and welds.

Good input. Thank you. Th rub is that it would be $50 shipping to UT. Another 50-100 to straighten and test. Hopefully clean up aesthetically. Or just buy a new set for the same money from Amazon.
Most used models are more jacked than mine. Mine does still mount up but the cap thread flang is looking shady and the entire unit is S shaped horizontally and beat looking.
I will look online again tonight.
Spark plugs, two concerns: jetting and oil burn.
Lots of oil on each where pencil is pointing but electrode looks a little wet but not crazy (I cleaned plug thread before photo,). The well on each looks clean and the grey market forum mentioned “as long as the oil level is not dropping and not burning, still good”. Keep the same jetting? Oil saturation from where?

Color looks pretty darn good and consistent. But I don't think that bike should have a stumble. You're installing new plugs, right?

Bike runs like a top. I was going to leave these jets in and put in new plugs. Just a little unsure on jetting changes but I thought the plugs looked good.

the question was more about jetting changes and possibly burning oil. I personally don’t think I have any issues regarding either looking at the plug condition.

Yes, you are 100%, but I can deal with 7k stumble over running lean. Tyga had put that info out for their exhaust system. They mentioned using a .5mm to possibly cure the stumble and try re-jetting the bike to 112,115. I already have the .5mm shims installed.

I’m confusing to talk to, it’s ok. Haha

Bustin' balls. And you never know, some mew plugs could clean that up.

I agree the plugs look pretty damn good on both counts. I would be really tempted to try 4x #115 just see what happened and provide some insight on where you stand.

Cheers dude! Keep up the good work!

Oh and I am sure you peeps already knew this but I used some adhesive backed heat shrink to line the wire harness supports that age poorly. Also cleaned up the counter shaft sprocket cover.

Annnnd I run out of shims to change all of the exhaust valves clearances. Fack. 2.20mm and 2.25mm. We are still within spec at .008” on three exhaust valve sets. So I can be lazy and leave it or order shims and get them set 100%.
Smart me says order and complete next weekend. We have jack for local moto shops. image.jpg

yeah, I was lucky to swap a few to get all of the intakes set correctly. The intakes were pretty tight overall. I don't think this bike has seen valve service before. I think amazon has some 5pc kits at the ready. Hotcams.

Alright shims are in, but I wanted to finish the cleaning of parts to reinstall. Sand blast, vapor hone, sonic bath, and last a VHT clear. JB weld tomorrow.
    image.jpg
New 115 mains all around. Staying with 35 on the pilots(?). Checked all jets even though the bike ran well. No clogged anything except a float bowl drain (cleared- ick). Float height verified (one was low). Because the drain bolt o-rings looked squared (original) I now need to pull apart and replace fuel tube o-rings. Boo, the brochure said carbs rebuilt. Sheesh!
    image.jpg image.jpg
Also started on the coolant pass through. Original o-rings still present (expected), but the passages looked clear. They have yet to be cleaned, but the fact that they don’t have a lot of build up is nice. image.jpg
Hope to finish carbs and coolant pass through tomorrow.

Technology can be awesome. The Japanese manual listed two type of plugs. But why? Translate to the rescue! image.jpg
