    :yield: not that kind....
Came across a steal for some Widder electric chaps at the local accessory store (50% off-clearance item) and wanted to know if anyone knows of a good place to get other electric items cheap. I looking for a sleeved liner (preferred) or a vest. I figured the season is here and others could use the info too.

More like under jeans or other riding gear. electric gear isn't a one item end all to cold. they only truly effectively work with layers.

I guess the 50%-off is all in the seat area of the pants? I don't wear those.

I've used a set of the Widder electric chaps and gloves for years. They both work great. I don't recommend the thermostat, though. It's big and bulky and you have to put it in your pocket. Wires going everywhere. Just turn the switch off or on when needed.

Another good cold weather tool is the Aerostitch wind triangle. Don't leave home without it.

I've also ordered Hot Grips for my new ride. Got used to these on my BMWs and can't live without them now. The electric gloves are pretty bulky. I have a pair of them too but with the grips, don't need them.
