That’s true, but the first time I rode a bike with electronics was an R1M. Wow, I instantly wanted all the horns and whistles. After 3 sessions getting use to trusting the electronics my laps times were as fast as my personal best at my local track.

You know you're getting old when you trade off you big Jesus GMC Sierra 1 ton, 4X4 pick up, crew cab, 6.6 Litre diesel engine loaded and buy a nice cute little Buick all wheel drive SUV with a 1.2 litre engine. Fuck, my Africa Twin has a 1.1 L engine FFS. It's just so cute though. Badass black with a little chrome which I added more. I think I will see what kind of loud mufflers I can put on that little puppy to make it more badass. Do you know the engine shuts off when you stop at a red light. I am being so environmentally responsible these days.

Nothing wrong with that! Just curious which one you got. Anything but a Moron-O. :)

I like the car a bit, but think I made a mistake buying it. I think it is just too small, but hey, I am stuck with it for a couple years anyway. Maybe I will trade it off in a couple years. I do miss the truck though, so maybe a GMC Canyon next time around.

This coming summer will tell. I have a 3CAV rally in Winnipeg so that will be hard miles in the saddle. I was having a hard time with the Africa Twin last fall in poor weather so a Gold Wing is seemingly out of the question. Maybe a Bombardier Spyder. I have a couple friends who have them and are quite pleased with them. One had to move over to one because of a near death accident a few years ago on his Harley. Costly but WTH. Its just money and you can't take it with you when you are gone. I can leave the bikes or the Spyder for the family to sell off when I am gone.

We got a 2025 Mazda CX-30 a few weeks back. It is a lot of car for the money...and so little tech compared to others. :)

You have to have an Epidural in your lower back before you can ride again.

    Hope it works

My best tours meant having a bike, a credit card and a destination. What happened in between was magical. On one of my trips down to California, I looked at my GPS history and it looked like a spider web constructed by a spider on crack.

You know you're getting old when you say to your son, "Gawd! Your beard is getting really grey now isn't it?"

You know you're getting old when you can stay up to dark if you take a late afternoon nap. And still fight nodding off watching the dinner time news.

You know you're getting old when "friends with benefits" means having someone who can drive at night.
