This is my Mancave, basically 4 x 4m only, so 4 bikes just fit but be prepared to jab yourself repeatedly in the kidneys with bar ends as you move about...

It is not heated but our climate is fairly benign; I do use a dehumidifier in what passes for our winter.

Very nice, Terry! Using the paddock stand to keep the bike upright and take up less room is genius! :)

Except when you trip over the handle (which I seem to like to do).

My house (single story) also sits up on a hill. Technically it's a "dune ridge", as I'm on a barrier island here.

At some point, a previous owner added on to the North side where there is no grade - so that part is held up by posts. Sticks out maybe 10' so not much. But that space underneath has a concrete pad and I use it to store various home improvement items.

Well.....that side of the house also contains a fenced in side yard currently with a 12'x30' structure I built similar to a pole barn - open on all sides with overhead canopy.

It's my intention to clear everything out and start over and this time the new structure will incorporate that part underneath the add on. It gets better. There's a side door there too that leads to my 2 car garage. Wishful thinking is to install a ductless mini-split for the garage that can also help moderate that storage area through the man door. I don't really know (yet) how i would do it - probably depend on how I build the new structure. It will be totally enclosed so I may set up a separate register for it.

Anywhoo......that's what I have in mind. Just have to get going on it before the heat sets in. I probably have a good 5 months, so very do-able.

This side of my property also faces North so a big advantage in dealing with heat and sun .

I now have a full size fridge in my storage unit. Appliance dolly rental from U-Haul was only $10.65! I'm not sure that would even buy a cheeseburger any more! ;)

People buying Mom's house wanted it out. So I got it out.... :)
