Service under current ownership is said to have included modifying the camshaft oil feed lines, overhauling the petcock, rebuilding the brake calipers and master cylinders, and replacing the thermostat, battery, fuel pump relay, valve cover gaskets, and tires. This VF750F is offered at no reserve with a tool kit, an owner’s manual, two keys, removed parts, copies of purchase documents from previous ownership, and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.

Different perspectives, here.

Maybe the person who bought this will extract much more happiness from ownership than we would, no matter how much was spent on it. In that situation.....the amount paid for the bike was a better value for them, than it would have been for us.

It always boils down to the same thing....cost vs. value.

I would also suggest that you'll have a very hard time finding another example in this nice a condition and (very important) available to buy.

I know I have paid more for some of my bikes than some here would. But I always felt OK with it because it made me happy. Money is important but as you get older you realize it's not everything......

But
Paying $7700 for a bike that in my opinion is worth $5000 is a little out there.
Clean VF750F come out frequently… I know bat gets maximum $$ but you still ( probably) have to get it shipped… extra $$
If I’m paying “ extra “ I would have to see it for myself…
That being said, I’m happy for the buyer and seller …. It’s not me shelling out the cash so it really doesn’t matter …

I don't know about that. Show me one recently sold with only 3,800 original miles like this one. And in original & running condition - not needing any work.

I don't remember seeing any but maybe I missed it (?)

I don’t have them readily available but you can believe it or not

I'm not mad or anything - just offering a different point of view.

Everything here is always open for discussion the way I see it.

Here's 9 that sold on B.a.T. - note the correlation between mileage and final selling price.

A classic bike (or car or truck) with low mileage really does equate to a higher value - and thus they sell for more.

But like I said - and you as well - not everyone looks at it that way.

I'm just trying to offer another perspective.
