Grab me a right-side mirror from his box of spares.

My buddy had a little oopsies last week on his VF, and I went and grabbed it while I sent his stubborn ass to the ER. Luckily for the bike, he did an excellent job softening the asphalt with two ribs, a shoulder, and arm.

    YOUCH!

Lucky he's got a buddy like you to give a hand! Best wishes on a full recovery - bike and rider!

PS - like your trailer set up!

He'll be alright. Sore and hobbled for a while. I'm sure the ribs are the worst part of it. It sucks, but it is what it is. He's still alive and he'll recover. Not every crash on the street ends that way. Helmet did its job.

The trailer has been quite busy on recovery missions this week. Another buddy of mine had to stop by and grab it after his Sportster started blowing one of the cylinders heads off as he was riding, lol. I'm hoping that I can upgrade to an enclosed trailer setup sometime in the next year or two, but I can't deny the utility of the little 4x8ft'er with a Baxley chock slapped on. It survived a work/play trip from WI down to Barber in Alabama and then to Georgia earlier this year. Not sure I want to do that again, hah.

Yeah - was looking at that chock! :) I need to get one of those!

My neighbor is a bike guy and I took a look at his trailer the other day, which had some very nice (and very expensive) chocks on it - which you can't see in this photo - but here's his setup.....
