It sure is pretty, but I don't know if I'd spend much more than the starting bid

    It's gone up - now at $2.2K.

I think I paid $3.3K for the one I bought back in May. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it rode.

Everyone will have what I call a "pain threshold limit" on what they'd spend on a bike. It will be different for everyone, naturally. You always have to factor in transportation costs too, of course.

I was able to drive and pick mine up - only 1.5 hours each way - not bad.

    There's been 8 previous VF500 B.a.T. auctions....4 of which were for the 1986 year:

Eye opening to see some of the numbers they sold for.

My issue is I'm 6' and 185 without gear so the bike is a little small.

For funsies, yeah but comfortable not really for me.

And of course I'd have to Ride Ride it. Don't have any garage queens here . Something that nice and limited I'd be a little nervous

I honestly didn't think my 86 would run when I got her I just have a damn soft spot for the Honda V4s.

Looks to be a low mileage unmolested survivor. Somebody on here should buy it.

    Wow!

I hope it doesn't become a museum piece.

Although I'd be too scared to ride something that expensive
