(listing info) Really nice original, unrestored Honda VF500 F2 V-Four classic sports bike. Only 15,700 miles from new, partial service history and Vosa Mot history Runs & rides like new, very hard to fault, the odd mark here & there but for a nearly 40 year old bike it’s in exceptional condition, clearly been a very cherished bike. Flew through its recent mot with zero advisories, was part of my collection but unfortunate circumstances mean I have to sell them. 1st to see will bite my hand off, very reluctant sale. Cheers

    11 photos plus a video.....

I would give Baz's left nut for a nice 86 FII.

I took a look at this one today. The photos don't show up the faults. Its def a 15k miles original bike. Paper work back to 1990 was good, and the radiator looked virtually brand new. Original screen with original setting screws! Close examination showed up a number of scrapes where it has been on its left and right side at some point, with the LH faring pocket broken. RH silencer has been repaired , but rot is coming back through, and the collector box is on its way out. Paint is good with the odd chip. Engine at low revs there is a rattle/tapping, that goes when its revved up. Probably needs the carbs syncing. Overall not bad for the price but not perfect.

Thanks for the report and followup here, Desmo888!

His asking price when converted to US dollars is approx. $3,600.00.

For an original unrestored unmoletsed FII in good running condition I agree - not bad....and frankly I'm surprised it hasn't sold yet!

I don't know what to think about the market right now for these vintage Interceptors. I'd LIKE to think, especially as collectables, they will at least hold their value and possibly even go up!

At the end of the day I guess it all depends on a buyer's enthusiasm to be able to buy and own one that is still in good nick...they are out there....just have to be a patient seller and have the right merchandise!
