So purdy. Honda just nailed the lines and proportions on that bike.

The 1st Gen bikes are very special in many ways.

    Last week when I moved 5 of my bikes around - 3 were 2nd Gen, 1 3rd Gen. and 1 1st Gen.....all had a different feel.

I remember how much I really enjoyed riding my 1st Gen.

That was the first 1st Gen bought - an '83 RC15.......the one I rode home from the seller's house in Daytona......and didn't have to do any work on her! ;)

Even has the CORRECT blinkers!!! :D

If they are not HRC branded turn signals, they are not original. lol

It is amazing to feel the difference just rolling bikes around the garage between decades of innovation and improvements. My two favs are the NSR and the Duc.

My favorite is the one with grips in my hands.

And now that Capt has said that, I tend to agree. My wife laughs at me because, just like my surfing (I had the best wave today comment made every time I go out), just riding is the best experience anymore even on the ST which is more like the Millennuim Falcon than a motorcycle.

Lots. But that's exactly what they would be on this 40 year old motorcycle and they are already well documented.

Despite what you may think, I am reasonable, but I do not suffer fools gladly.

a healthy vf500 engine is among the smoothest-running ever, reminded me of a sewing machine, and the '86/'87 700 engines were not as vibe-free.

They are so enjoyable. Like SM said, a little sewing machine making great sounds propelling that great chassis.

    Sold for $4,300.

My prediction was $5K so I was overly optimistic.
