Hi I just fitted cbr600 wheels and the tire is rubbing. Is somebody riding the f2 wheel conversion to and which tires are you running to make this work ?
Or how can i make the 160 wheels to fit?

The consensus is you have to run a 150/60-17 tire on the 4.5" rim.

Also it appears it is an Avon tyre. They run wide. A Michelin or Pirelli run closer to "advertised".

I have 5.5" rear wheel conversions on two VF1000. One has a 170/60-17 Pirelli that measures 168mm and fits perfect. The other has a 170/60-17 Avon that measures almost 180mm and occasionally rubs the chain.

It was just an example of how different tire manufacturers can vary greatly in the actual sizes of tires.

I have no fucking clue. Have you researched if Dunlops typically run wide or not?

If you are just gonna start throwing rubber at the problem, why don't you just buy a 150 series and be done.

That is PLENTY of tire for a VF500F.

I want to ride a tire as thick as possible for the aggressive look.
