My gosh, it doesn't look THAT bad.... I'm not going to post any pics of mine. You all would tear it to shreds. :(

It’s not what it looks like … it’s what the seller puts in the description.

no respect, tough, tough crowd here, and nothing escapes notice or is overlooked on used cycles.

:Blabla: "i can tell you" is a phrase trump uses to try backing up his habitual lies.

I like that the seller included his phone number. This is the way......

Looks like a decent price, to me, although the salvage title is a little off putting.

Regarding the "top speed" comment.....doesn't really bother me and I'd say it probably is a plus for the sales pitch....IF and only if it's accurate! I'm not schooled on this model so don't know unless I look it up.

There's a saying in surfing....as long as you're having fun....you don't need perfect waves. For me I don't need to go super fast to have fun on any of my bikes.....as long as I'm having fun....that's all that matters.

I own over 40 bikes (Honda), from 50cc to 1100cc. Sometimes I ride one extreme the next day after riding the other. I'm having fun regardless of what I'm on. I fucking better be, being this stupid.

A decent price for a matching original upper cowl and non-salvage title.

You're the farthest thing from stupid I've even known or seen, but I get your point.

"What the hell are we doing with so many damn motorcycles?" would be an interesting discussion to have one day. A new thread, of course.....;)

No we wouldn't... unless you are trying to sell it at 2 to 3 times what's it's worth, with 2 shitty pictures in the dark with the bike watered down.

If you come in with the right attitude genuinely looking for help and advice, which is what you seem you are doing, you will find real enthusiasm with honesty.

My VF500 was definitely capable of more than 110mph back in the day and I SO very nearly had the citation to prove it (but that is a story for another day).

I used to take my RC26 up over 100 routinely when I was taking it up to work on Saturdays between '95 and 2000. Normally I drove a company truck because we did deliveries. But on Saturdays only one person worked the store and we were only open from 7:30am 'till Noon. So I left the company truck at home and took my Interceptor......hell who wouldn't? :)

My store was in Port Orange and to get there I took US1. between NSB and Port Orange (really Harbor Oaks) there's a section of US1 without any lights or intersections and the speed limit to reflect it. Not 100 mph but 55 mph so you could run her up for a brief period with little risk of trouble.

Doesn't take long to go from 55 to 100 or more on these bikes, as we all know.

Felt good to let the old girl stretch her legs a bit and an affirmation for me to justify ownership of a motorcycle with the name Interceptor.....

This was the Yellow '87 that I plan on restoring this year. ;)
