Best bet for 3rd Gen Carb kits???

    I see aftermarket 90-93 carburetor rebuild kits on eBay, but don't have a clue as to which to avoid if possible...any suggestions or input for best bet supplier? I probably only need float bowl gaskets at this point...

    Thanks for the link! I'm guessing that this is a standard o-ring which just happens to fit into the groove around the float cover??? Are you using anything to hold it into the cover during reassembly?

    Correct. It is such a good fit, it stays in the groove. If for some reason one wants to pop out, just give it a tiny dab of silicone grease.

    Excellent!! Thanks again for your info...
    Unless I'm the one confused...I'm talking about the gasket which fits into the groove for the float chamber (cover?)...not for a tube.

    I usually buy kits when I do mine......but have also bought some of Joe's stuff......they're nice!
