    Hello all....

I have a few '87's that I am restoring and am in search of a set of graphics for them.

Two of these are Blue and one (was re-painted) Yellow.

More interested in the Blue's graphics (see pic below) but willing to consider anything you may have.

I've searched online and doesn't seem to be available for the 700....just the 750....which is different.

    TIA!

OK thanks! Saw that website earlier this morning and sent an email asking about availability, so hopefully they will get back to me.

They actually list a graphic package for the VFR - 202 - Honda VFR Interceptor 14 decal set - US$35 - which might do the trick.

I'll post again when I hear something from them.

    Thanks!

Yeah that is the same place I use and posted above. They have 2 or 3 sites under slightly different names. Not sure why, maybe to skirt licensing. They are out of Malta.

Thanks, Joe! Looks like the same company Captain 80's referenced.

This really helps a LOT. I don't mind piece meal.....whatever gets the job done!

Thanks also for the PPG codes....good stuff! ;)

Careful which kit you choose. Sometimes their "R" is odd looking. 808 or 809 might better to customize. And you don't need to go "kit", you can pick and choose. They will pull individual items out of a kit for you and charge accordingly.

Lot to choose from looks like.

The Blue's graphics will be easy to match up.

Here's what came on the (re-painted) Yellow bike from the previous owner.......I really like it but what I do for that bike has yet to be determined. I'd like to keep her Yellow - that much I know. And I may not even need any new decals depending on things go....

It's often the "Interceptor" on the tail that's hard to get in a kit. They didn't use that in other markets, to my knowledge. I once had three gold kits custom made for the white bikes with the "Interceptor" substituted for the "750F" but that guy seems to have disappeared.

Yes, I've noticed that as well. I just sent the seller another email with that Blue bike photo I posted above for reference, so we'll see what they say and I will post any updates here.

    Thanks again! :)

Yeah, do that. I sent them an email on Sunday asking for some guidance for the side "VFR" decals for my blue UK-bike project (same decals as US, I think) but never heard back, so this morning I just ordered what I think is right. We'll see.

I wonder if that was the fellow in Bulgaria.

Asking because I ordered and received a set from him back in '08. Been ransacking my home the past couple days looking for it. So far I found the empty mailing tube. I know I still have them...........somewhere!?!?

Then, to add insult to injury, I sent off one of the three gold sets to a well-established repop decal guy in Canada who promised to use them to digitally copy, he got into a family medical thing….never heard a word again. One more reason I'm getting out of paint work on these bikes. I've got two more to paint, and that's probably it for me :Rapture:

    Was that the CB-Decals guy?

I bought some VFR decals (for the '86 solo cowl) from a dude in Canada. High quality.

That "Interceptor" font has to be slanted to be correct.

I was looking at some photos of a Blue RC26 a guy posted on FB and his Interceptor is not slanted.......and looks a little cheesy......

Friend ordered these for his Charcoal Grey 87 he painted, and they matched the originals really good. Just the spacing was SLIGHTLY different.

    Screenshot 2024-03-06 144234.jpg

How do I know? He's a lazy sloth and painted OVER the originals then thought he would just lay these down over the top. Well he did one side trying to match them up. I got so upset watching him fail, I did the other side. Wanna guess which side looks good?
