    Hi,
My VFR800FI1 2001 start making some problems of an old one.
When I switch on the key, the gage are all working and the fuel level is shown but when I press the starter button it is dead.
After ~2min (I measure), I hear a click and the fuel pump kick in (I think), and once pressing the starter the bike is running fine.

Any idea where to start checking?

No, didn't start yet, was aiming to review all wiring and check some connectors under the gas tank to the pump.

I'm no expert - but would check your battery and make sure it's good before doing anything else. That's always good start point for most start issues.

    (no pun intended) ;)

    Battery.

Even if the charger shows "good" or "charged".

Don't waste any time and energy checking other things! As has already been mentioned, FIRST establish that you have a healthy battery AND your terminals are clean and tight. NOTHING else matters until you do this FIRST!
