How high will bidding go for this one?

Imma take a WAG at $3,100.

If it had a BIN, I might go to $3,500 myself.

The transport is a deal breaker for me though. Washington to Florida is a haul!

    Correct.

BTW...weird dream last night. I dreamed the B.A.T. auction ended with a $4K BIN. I kept wondering how I didn't know that feature/option was available on B.A.T.

Of course it isn't. But how do you tell that to someone dreaming it...lol.......

So I downloaded a bunch of pics to get a better look since this is so close to me. It has serious corrosion.

There's a bunch of parts that have been painted / powder coated to make it look better. Like the upper triple clamp. Powder coat is so thick it filled in the Honda Wing emblem inset. Zoom in on the front caliper... yikes. Take a look at the counter shaft cover, rear hub and rear exhaust. Shit, the High Beam indicator literally has a pool of brown water in it. And why is dash all cock-eyed? Look at the front brake lever adjuster.

"The seller notes corrosion on the aluminum and on some of the hardware."

    Shit. Should be...

"The seller notes corrosion on everything."

I too was taking a closer look earlier and noticed (in essence) the same thing.

Bid was at $1,350 w/2 days left.

My enthusiasm has cooled.....not so much for any corrosion issues but just because I cannot JUSTIFY getting another bike considering I ALREADY have some AWESOME bikes that need to be ridden more than they are. Not to mention the shipping cost from west to east coast plus....I'm already past spending what I should have been spending on bike stuff for the previous 12 months....including 3 additional VFRs!

I may be crazy......but I'm not NUTS! LOL......

I wouldn't ship that bike. But it is 40 minutes from me and I would probably pay the current price and properly go thru it... Like I do.

I think there's gonna be a little late action just because you don't see many Spadas. And the people that want it are my age with more money.

Well for a bike like this......we both know there will be late action.

I already posted my guess in Post #7....."Imma take a WAG at $3,100."

What do you think it'll get up to, Capt? :)

I think you're pretty close. Maybe high twos. I saw some east coast guys talking about shipping. That would be a very expensive disappointment.

Thought I'd check on the auction. Right when I clicked on it - it went from $1,350 to $3,001 - just like that! :D

Just over an hour left so buckle up! :)
