396 (actually 402 beginning in 1970). And stickered on the valve covers as "Invader 400".

No fucking idea and don't fucking care.

Same when we still had the '99 Suburban K2500 454. 43 gallon fuel tank, so it made it seem better than it was.

    I had 2 Vegas.

My first was a wagon. It had mags but not like yours. I ended up with these stock wheels. And the Lee sisters....good trade! :)

DERAILED! Yes! Sweet rides all ya.
My first vehicle was a '70 2wd Blazer. 402. I couldn't even afford to drive to high school in it. About 6mpg and no brakes..lol

El Camino is about the only vehicle I wish I had. I would love a '69. Honestly after going down to NZ/Australia I really like the V8 Utes. Modern Camino. Maybe once my truck actually dies. Can't lie, I wish I had an old 911 Turbo with the "wales tail", but that ship sailed out of my pocket book a long time ago.

I'm throwing this thread right back to audio, because I spent too much time looking these pics up off the web! As a you g man of about 19-20 1980. I was a huge audio file and a couple years later a soundman. This equipment was the foundation of my 2 channel equipment.

I gave this turn table to my boss. My Dad bought it in the late 70s.

Hey, since we are talking audio again. Anybody interested in a Rane MA 6S? It was my neighbor's that drove his audio throughout his house and back deck. He's moving and I offered to sell it for him.

Serious power. Made locally here in Mukilteo, Washington.

    Nice unit!

I have 3 separate stereo systems set up at my place for outside. Plus my inside system.

They pretty much do the job for me.

The 3 outside units are each powered by 3 of these inexpensive receivers I got from Amazon (currently listed at $61.79).

Pyle Wireless Bluetooth Power Amplifier System - 200W Dual Channel Sound Audio Stereo Receiver w/ USB, SD, AUX, MIC IN w/ Echo, Radio, LCD - Home Theater Entertainment via RCA, - PDA6BU,Black

I use flash drives loaded with MP3 files and pairs of outdoor speakers attached to my soffits.

I also have and use portable rechargeable speakers that accept flash drives depending what I'm doing. Also quite a few various MP3 players...many of them from Creative that are very small and easy to carry and use.

I have an extensive MP3 file music library in my desktop and continue to download new stuff every week.

I'm in a neighborhood so don't want to get too carried about with volume. I have had neighbors yell over they like my music though.....:)

We're all on good terms except the redneck alcoholic lady to my North. Luckily she stays inside most of the time. :)

I serve my inner and outer shop, front driveway and outdoor patio dining area with 2 receivers. I can have separate programs (including surround in the main shop for the forward TV) or tie them together. It works just fine and sounds awesome, that's why I'm not interested in incorporating the Rane. But if I had one large space and was driving a bunch of speakers, it would be great.

    That's a nice Pyle driver :)

I have a few battery powered speakers and stream my MP3s from my phone/tablet through them. Every song is something I like...most of it pre 1994.
