I'm putting my low miles 1997 VFR750F on BaT with no reserve - <4,000 miles, 2nd owner. The auction starts at 11:30 Pacific on Nov. 18, 2023, and runs for a week. Time to let someone else enjoy the bike. AAA VFR750 thumbnail.png

    Always. No.

Looking at previous BaT VFR listings for the same years / condition... 6 - 7K. I got mine with 10K for 3.

I should have been verking today, but my daughter was a little sick, so on the way to the winter camp (regular school is closed for the week) she got sick in the car. She is ok now, (thanks for asking) so now, I went down the rabbit hole of Bring a Trailer. Knew about it, have been on it in the past, currently on it now. Interesting for sure, collector stuff, not ridden much with probably the intention of recouping what they spent or making some money.

I went to the local mc shop last week and bought a new helmet, on my way out I had a conversation with a salesman that I knew for years, we were admiring the 2023 Hayabusa that was sold already, I was amazed at the price of the new bike, $23,000 out the door. I told him I have an old business card with a quote for a second had Busa that he scribbled maybe 10 years ago, it was $6900, those were the good days. Peace.

Busa.. at 23K dealer is gouging... A local dealer wanted 19k...I looked at one for fun... would never buy one, but as a design, I find it beautiful. Dash is mostly analog..

130 in first gear almost. I think a bike is as good as an investment than any other crap that is out there. You buy a restored English Triumph say, (I am not a proponent mind you, this is an example.) You could ride that bike for the next ten years to the ice cream store on weekends and still get your money back, granted 10,000 large may be worth less in ten years, but I feel that a tangible item is gona weather this chit storm that we are in currently.

The said busa had some stuff done to it - custom seat, some other acutriments, you get the picture. Doode who bought it, money was no object obviously. Peace

I was in PR a few years ago and the only bikes on the road were cop bikes and Busas. My wife recommended learning how to wrench on the busa so we could move to Puerto Rico. :)

Busa has a crank the size of a econo Toyota. Great motor.
