Thank you, but there is still a ways to go. That was just round 1 to get to 'very presentable'.

 

Out yesterday after the marine layer burned off and it warmed up a bit. Couple notes.

The thing continues to run sweet. Got a couple chances for full throttle runs up thru the gears and hold in 6th. Killer.

This is probably the most thirsty bike I have when ridden hard. Stock main jets and needles. Fuel gage is not linear and is pessimistic, but to go from indicated Full to Fuel Light in one valley rip is some consumption.

Traded with my buddy on a country road before our stop point. This is one fucking good looking bike going down the road. I was able to ride off to the side and "sproing!". Also got a chance to look and smell when he got on it a couple times. No smoke or rich fueling smells.

New plugs and oil change going in this week. Wanted to burn some shit off before putting in plugs and I had some prematurely dropped oil (still clear gold) from another bike in it I had saved for this "flush".

Very happy. Still got some work I want to do, but I def met my goals before the end of decent weather.

 

Yeah, I believe it just might be the best all around bike ever built!

 

After finally removing 30 years of chain lube and road grime...

Restored chain guard back on.
