I use a strip of medium stock paper (~7mm wide) as a feeler gage. Get a nice repeatable drag on the base carb (over the small hole in the bore) using the idle adjust and match that drag on the remaining carbs, "snapping" the throttle every now and then and rechecking. If that doesn't get you an adjustable idle down below 1000 rpm, you have missed something else in your carb "rebuild".

Still nothing I did that and now it won't stay going without the choke on I've retraced my steps through the whole thing and still can't find where I would have messed up at, I watched and followed perfectly on a video I found from Matt tries to do things and still doesn't want to go, what do you think I'm missing

somethings way, way wrong. do you actually know where the idle mixture screws are located ? not the float bowl drain screws.........

soaking is not always sufficient to clean an idle jet, and thats why a wire [ten-thousandths diameter] must be used.

as a young, inexperienced bike owner, the honda service manual is an absolute necessity. it will save you time, increase your understanding and keep you from screwin things up too bad [if you read it].

manual can be downloaded free on this site i believe ;)

Hey there, this is one of the best v4 carb cleaning channels on youtube (IMHO).

    https://www.youtube.com/@thecarbspa/videos

here is the first video of 14 on how to properly service your v4 carbs

these will take you step by step in a very clear and concise manner

Bro you said asking question is encouraged did you not? The other side is blocked off right and this side has no where for a damn screw, I'm asking where it is now. So would you mind telling me where it is please? Instead of some snarky ass reply thank you

All you had to do was just tell me to drill out the cap on the other side, it wouldn't have been that hard to say that I finally found a damn manual you could've just been a nice person and just told me and save me and hour thanks
