Hi all, first post. Just bought a VF500F2, that needs lots of little bits of fettling.

My petcock is toast. The vacuum side has been modified/bypassed. And the tap doesnt shut off the fuel.
I have drilled out the rivets on the tap to find the gasket (rubber with 4 holes in it) breaking up.

I intend to reinstate the vacuum side and want to replace the tap gasket. I can source new parts for the vacuum side but the tap gasket was never a replacement part, so I'm looking for alternatives. A 4 hole gasket is pretty common in Hondas, but the diameter of it differs. I need a 33mm wide one.

    1. Does anyone know where I can source a 33mm diameter gasket.
    2. Is there an alternative petcock that fits
    3. Does the vacuum pipe attach to the inlet manifold (where the carb balance vacuum is connected) or directly to one of the carbs somewhere. I cant find any info on this and there is nothing on the parts diargrams showing a screw in adapter for it.

    Cheers

Thanks jstehman. Just ordered a gasket. Going to take a while to ship here unfortunately but at least I have a solution.
The sync nipple you mention. What does it look like. I cant see it on the parts listing. Any chance you know the part number or a pic?
