I have a 5th gen, the head lights started clicking on after I started the bike. Did that for a couple of weeks till it just stopped turning on! I'm almost positive it's a relay, where is the lights relay at on the bike?

Were you unable to find it in the manual?

High beam and low beam relays are behind the instrument cluster. You'll have to pull the front cowl off the bike. See page 19-25 of the service manual you can download from this forum. You sure this isn't a fouling starter button? That's a multi contact switch with a NC contact for the headlights. When you press the starter button this opens and drops headlights from the circuit to give the battery more available power to turn over the engine.

    Where can I find it?
I’m new to this forum, so I’m having a hard time finding a downloads section or something similar.

If its both Hi and Lo then is unlikley to be both relays at fault!
As has been mentioned the Starter Switch is the most common cause. Suggest before ripping panels off and locating relays, give the Starter Switch a good spray of WD-40 and with Igniton to Off give the switch a good exercise, see how that goes.

Following along. My lights work but very often switching from lo to hi-beam means I get no lights. It is remedied by toggling the switch a few times then going to hi-beam, but it is very finnicky. I'm thinking it might be something in the switchgear itself and not the relays, but hard to say without tearing into it

Good chance its a dirty switch. If you can pull the switch apart clean it then coat the contacts with OxGard might sort things out.

I've encountered that before on another Honda bike where the Hi-Low switch gained an off position. The switch is probably just dirty, although I have rarely seen wires breaking free of control switches that can cause similar symptoms until the last wire strands separate. I was just guessing starter button from the note about lights popping on after starting the bike.

Failed headlight relays is something I've never seen on a fifth generation.
