So.. I may have spent money before I had any to spend but it may work out to be a great deal. Time, parts and detailing will prove out my gamble. Or just make me broke and disappointed.
    I present to you, 1995 NC30 and 1989 ( I think) NC30. I picked them up a while ago so I kinda forgot while finishing the VF500.

You will become great friends with Rick Oliver in the UK, Mike Norman of G-Force Engine Development USA, Graeme France Racing in the UK, and Tyga Performance out of Thailand. Not to mention your credit card company and the DHL man.

Mike Norman is the only guy in the US that really knows these machines in and out. Rick and Graeme are the specialists in Europe. The Tyga boys know their shit and make some great parts for the NC30/NC35. I was looking a couple months ago and it looks like most of CMSNL's stock of leftover oe parts is about wiped out, so you might have to get creative.

I'm picking my 35 up from the engine tuners tomorrow, it's finally done after 4 years of R&D. It did it's best pull week before last, 74.5 rwhp, Mike Norman full spec 428cc engine. I should have wet weight numbers for it in the next couple weeks. I wish you only the best of luck. Hit me up if you are looking for specific bits, I might be able to help you find them.

I'm going to be doing a full write up with the guys at Tyga for my 35 and it will be up on their website relatively soon. I've been promising them the write up for 2 years now......

I will post up some pics to my thread here, when I get all of her clothes back on and finish up a couple things.

NorCal, dude… super thanks! I have Paul from Tyga on speed dial.. lol I need to send him a pic of the VF500 btw. Honesty I am neck deep in bikes, but this 35 ran before I picked it up so I am hoping it goes well and the engine is solid. If so, I will be sooo stoked.

Officially day 1. Remove old exhaust system. That seems to be the biggest issue I have so far.
    1. No exhaust gaskets up front and only 1 in back.
    2. Bent head bolts. At least they came off and I had left over new from the 750.

Well, after replacing 4 studs and mounting the Magot Tyga… results are Fuck yeah! Jeezus…really, someone couldn’t put gaskets in. The Tyga is superior in design so I am super pleased. Revs like a mother and loud AF. Probably too loud, but a road test will confirm.
Done for today, but here are some shots. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

My biggest concern was that I would install all of this and the other gear I have, only for the engine to be clapped out. It’s 15km appear to be accurate. The internals sound great. No valve noise, whiney like gear driven cams should be.
After a test ride I will figure out how big I want to go. Ooh and the carbs don’t need anything at this time. Hell yes ..whew. Lol
Tyga does recommend re-jet with this exhaust, but I am going to take the win right now and dig after test rides next week.
Time to clean up and watch MotoGP. Cheers!

God that exhaust... love it. I know my Left TBR for the 92 won't be near as sexy, but I'm anxious to mount and get tucked and the angles just right. No passenger pegs, so it can be tweaked a bit. Likely gonna mate a Tyga left can to it when it's all said and done.

    Jelly over here!!!!

Typically, does this get finished with a welded on bracket for the muffler?

Bolt on hanger. I hadn't bothered with the new hanger. I was too eager to hear it run. :)

Ahhh... I went to the website and see it goes around the flat area before the end with the proper subframe bracket.

Actually I meant on the muffler. Some Supertrapp kits came with the small triangular bracket separate. Then when you got your positions all finalized, you had the aluminum bracket welded to the muffler body where you wanted it.

Notice anything else drilled for safety wire? I see the oil pan has a hole for the drain plug.

Rear sprocket. This was a track bike (race or practice) at some point. Just hope the tranny is in good condition. Engine sounds good. I am sure I will find caliper bolts drilled as well.

On the Supertrapps, the more flanges installed the quieter correct? I never knew the welding info on the ST muffers..pretty cool.
